Boveda Wants to Hear From YOU!

Step 5: Storage

Do you normally store using any kind of humidity control pack?
If so, which one & which RH? (58% or 62%) I usually press most of my crop into rosin for vape oil and medibles. The 62% packs work best for this application.

In your experience, have you ever lost any of your harvest to mold & microorganism growth?
Not once it is in the jars. I have had bud rot in the grow room once when a fan died at a critical time.

When storing, we assume an airtight container is used. Do you store those containers in any special way or in any special place? eg. darkness? cool area? wherever there's room? Dark Closet in the center of the house for the most consistent temperature. I have good bud 3 years old.

From friends who are new to using humidity control technology state that now, the last bud of cannabis is as fresh and tasty as the first.
Is this an issue you see the need for?
Do you really need to ask that?
Free Reign: Anything unique in your storage process?

My one year test is almost ready. I have two half gallon jars of Monster Profit one with 62%s and one without They have been stored next to each other and burped once every 3 months since the initial cure. I will test it for texture, yield, terpene profile and rosin vape oil. I do not smoke but have friends happy to help test in that manor. So back at you soon.

Here in Alberta you can get the bovida 62% 4g for a dollar CAD, $2 for the 8g at incredigrow, might be able to order the packs from them. Also when you rehydrate them don't submerge them in the water, just put them in a container with a smaller container of water ( i put them in a teapot strainer with water below in the pot but not touching the packets) this will rehydrate them and keep the packets like new.
