Seed Stockers Blackberry Gum RDWC with MegaCrop

If you lowered MC 1 and turned out Ca and Mag, new MC 2 hotter and others haven't changed, temps in res and pot good for ph aswell?:shrug:Domes still on..

Temps and pH are fine.
No dome as I run a humidifier at 65% +

Day 10 Update

:dancer: Ishtar :dancer: is still being very Leggy. She must want to be a supermodel or sumfink...

Also still showing a little light stress - but I am going to ignore this until she starts throwing out a few more nodes as raising the light did no good and just encouraged more height.

Ordered myself some new growroom toys:

Temp and humidity are currently fine, but the varying temps outside the tent means that I don't have a real control over it.
These 2 beauties will fix that.

Check out the AC Infinity T6 Cloudline fans. With smart controller that can control 2 fans. Super quiet super efficient and in smart mode only runs as needed based on thresholds I set on controller.
I rarely add CAL/MAG these days mainly just being proactive. With Green Planet MediOne u just don't need it.
Check out Growing Exposed on YouTube, the big grow houses they tour all use Green Planet, we are talking up to 700 light facilities or 7 acre green houses.
Another Youtube show CannaCribs - Growers Network, visits big grows as well. There is one outside of Pueblo Co that is a 36 acre outdoor farm. Wife and I drove past it back in September.
I think the links for shows are listed in my latest journal in Mephisto Genetics area.
Peace my man

That's some fan system.
Very tempting indeed, but I fear it may be overkill for me.
Doesn't mean I won't order one though... :headbang:

I have enough MegaCrop to last me a year, so all is good there ;)

I’ve got the temp controller for my loft, not used it yet though.

DAY 13 UPDATE

Moving along nicely, but strangely, the roots have still not made it out of the netpot - the backup bean I planted has it's taproot already out of the Root!t sponge, and is about to pop it's head out.

Sweet Candy: 11.75g
Cal Mag Pro: 5g

DAY 14 UPDATE

Nothing major going on with :dancer:Ishtar :dancer:, but she is looking a little bit pale.
day014-001-jpg.1010564

In order to make her look prettier, I have added 5g of Megacrop to the reservoir. Lets see how she takes it.

Her sister popped her head above ground yesterday and has now been potted into her own RDWC system - butchered together from the remnants of my Aeros IV Master system.
Because Ishtar has still not got her roots out of the net pot, I decided to modify another netpot for this one.
I cut a section out of the base, and then used hot-melt glue to stick some hydroton pebbles together in a nice tube for about 2".
The Root!t sponge was then set on top of this 'tube' so that the taproot gets an unencumbered route to the water.
Her tap root is already longer than her stalk - and that is just the part that is protruding from the sponge

This lady shall be called :dancer:Shamash :dancer:
Her nutrients are as follows:
Megacrop: 5.28g
Cal Mag Pro: 1.43g
Sweet Candy: 2.86g

pH: 5.9
ppm: 490

Here are a few pics, including 2 'upskirts' :redcard:

The tap root is literally 2-3mm away from the water, but will be getting splashed from the airstone bubbles popping just under her.
I also added some Great white to a small tub of the res water and poured it into the Root!t sponge - should give her a nice start.
I get the feeling this one will rapidly catch up to her 'Twin'

Just checked the roots of Ishtar.
I think she is gonna be a write off tbh. :wall:
In 2 weeks, the tap root is an entire 2cm out of the Root!t sponge.
Her sister is about 3 times that in less than two DAYS.
I modified another netpot similar to the one I am using for her sister, so let's see if that can kick her into gear.
If I don't see substantial root growth by the weekend, I will stick her into the baby system and move the sister into the main one.
I guess she is just a poor one, since the two of them went through the same germination (Straight into a Root!it sponge in a propagator, with some Great White and Velokelp at 1ml per litre)
