New equipment modification.
I have been using 2 x 50 litre plastic bins as my water aeration/chloride dissipation containers and they are a pain in the ass.
Filling each with 30 l of water in the bathroom and carrying them into the spare room I grow in isn't much fun.
In addition, I have to pH each individually, and split the nutrients between them.
NO MORE !!!!
I cut a 25mm hole in each bin at a level where there is 35 litres of water in the bin.
Into these holes, I put a 25mm pvc plumbing pipe.
To fill them, I run a hose from my bathroom.
Once filled, I pop an air stone into each one and use an aquarium pump to move the water from one tank to the other via the white hose..
The water then recycles back into the original bin via the pvp pipe.
Now, I will be able to just throw the nutes into one bin and they will automatically circulate between the 2, giving me a constant ppm measurement from both bins.
This will make my life sooooo much easier
