First, measure the pH of your tap water and record it. As an example, let's say that it is 7.0, exactly neutral. Let's say that your runoff comes out at 6.5. How did that happen? The water passed through a more acidic matrix and dropped its pH. You can assume that your true soil pH is a couple tenths of a pH point lower than the runoff in this case- I'd assume about a 6.2. If it comes out HIGHER, just go in the opposite direction. If it came out 7.5, you can assume that you need to drop down from about 7.8.

Ok I'm on it today they are ready for a straight H2O watering. Have you ever seen Ro water fluctuate from gallon to gallon? I bought 12 gallons of RO and been testing them...none are the same...ranging from 5.8 to 6.5 with my calibrated pen. ..so I'll test my water...then test my run off and then plus or minus a few tenths to be in the ball park....and from what I have been reading with soil a ballpark is close enough...as long as its between a 6 and a 7.5?

Ok I'm on it today they are ready for a straight H2O watering. Have you ever seen Ro water fluctuate from gallon to gallon? 7.5 may be a tad high, aim for 6.5-6.8 region

As for the RO water, I'm no help

What's a good way to drop the soil ph? If I positively need to? I've tried lowering the water ph but it doesn't seem to stay in the soil it evaps or gets used up by the plant I guess? I'm afraid to add anything to the soil they seem to be doing goood....but that could change when they are in bloom?...I may be overthinking this shit too LMAO.....

Forgot you added lime, that's been taking care of your cal needs. I'd add epsom salts at 1/2 tsp/gal next watering and we'll see where we are after run off test. They look fine, I personally wouldn't mess with it if it's at 7 like you said in first post.

One of the perks of having a Lowes within a quarter mile.....I ran up (AKA SEND THE WOMAN) and bought a test kit.....here are my results...followed directions in the kit for PH and I also did a run off test with my pen. Pics show my level of straight RO and also the run off results... results varied a bit ...but I think I am safe....and I added a pic of the girl on the right out of her normal environment to get a better idea on color.......

You're smashing it pal! Don't be afraid of removing some of the bigger fans blocking lower bud sites. 2 or 3 off would open it up lovely
