The problem with using these type products isn't do they work, its should we use them? Hormones in particular, are very powerful compounds and small amounts can trigger genetic aberrations and mutations. you see what steroids do to athletes, destroying their bodies in the long run, creating lifelong health issues. same with any chems, look what coloidal silver and STS do to plants we reverse!
personally, I mostly avoid any such products. I don't use rooting gel, bud enhancers, etc.
If I can't grow bigger, better plants without "secret sauce" in a bottle, then I'm won't grow any!
@pop22 I'm on your side on this one... We can have some weird crap growing sideways and upside down if we abuse the genetics of the beans. I know if we have good genetics involved in the beans themselves, we don't need to do much more then just grow them as well as we can, mimicking nature as she would grow them in the wild. After seeing what Monsanto can do to corn, farmers are setting records every year on bumper crops, year after year. I see no slowing down in the gean mutation business as Monsanto is doing it to their seeds and farmers are happy all the way to the bank... No, this is not a Monsanto kick ass gripe about them, just using them as reference:cuss:. I just see he MJ world will buy up these hormone growth accelerators as a viable commercial option in he near future. Now, I'm just an old dirt kicker doing it just for me, so I have little validation to the commercial growers as they are on a different level then myself.

I know people are using this stuff and not really disclosing the info from those grows, maybe a fear of the general populist ready to pitchfork them?.. I personally do use B vitamins on my girls. 1, 2, 3, 6, and 12. I make my own and had good results from the use of these B vitamins, on SOME strains!!. Not every strains like the same thing, as I find out... But that's the fun of it, at least to me it is. It's the adventure of discovery and wisdoms we share on this site that keeps me coming back:smokeout::bighug:.

What's wrong with those plants?? They look happy to me
@stepside I totally agree. See nothing wrong with those at all!!. Looks nice to me... I had way worse then that before and probably will have more shitty ones in the future!!. Happy, happy, joy, joy...

Hell, I have one strain that keeps shutting me down when it sprouts, dies the minute it breaks ground. On my 3rd seed for this one and still struggling:finger:. At least you have growth, I can't even get a bloody leaf!!..

If its soil or coco, start a fresh pot, damping off can be caused by a fungus. Worth a try, seedlings rarely die without reason.

No idea @pop22 I start mine all the same, soak in RO until she sinks, about a day or so, then straight to soil?!?!?!... Never had an issue until now. Little taken back with this much bad luck from a strain:yoinks:. I'll get it I'm sure... Maybe.....

My thoughts exactly can't afford the sause in the bottle though but I don't mind going without it .

Reminds me of those old westerns where a guy tries to sell a bottle of elixir that will solve everyone's problem. 'Just drink the koolaid, and everything will be ok'.... Ok, Jim jones, that worked out real well for those folks in Jonestown... Not.

Snake oil salesman lol yep cost ya a pretty peny to .

That is very innovative I do something similar using a indoor AC 8000btu and a 6 inch inline fan I box the fan in using cardboard and cover the top of the ac so all the cold air goes directly to the fan. In the winter i just open the hole that I run the ducting to the outside for the AC in the summer a 1/4 of the way stick my inline fan near it and suck in the cool winter air. I hope this makes sense I will be hooking my grow show up and will have pictures to explain better. i use a 8 inch inline fan and charcoal filter match. I throw huge amounts of air in with my 6inch inline and draw it out with my 8 inch inline I have a five by five tent so my air movement is way overkill but that IMO is how to grow exceptionally huge ass autos. I also keep my vents open for passive intake on one side.

Love to see the pics sounds awesome fairlynew
