Awesome post! And I've wanted to see or try mainling so that makes it even more interesting! !I actually got the base idea of the soilponics from Read Spear's book: Marijuana cultivation Reconsidered,, a book every canna grower should read!

I'll be following this one for sure!

Ok @pop22 im going to run my mainlining/manifold auto run here, if not I can start a new thread?..

This will be 3 strains, @mephisto auto triangle, Ripley og, and a 2fast 2vast. We're going to see if I can reproduce my photo strains results on these autos. I'm going for 12-16 mainline colas on all of these girls.
Blue planet nutes. 5 part high yield.
multi vitamin B complex as I have seen great results in some university trials in tomatoes.
Humboldt nutrition supernova, dark energy as an added bonus.
FFOF 25% perlite.
@pop22 1 pound auto quest, soilponics, 3.2 gallon pots as trial on the Ripley of as the rest will be done is a standard 3.2 gallon pots, nothing special for those 2.. I know how the ripley respond to different training and have seen the results as that's why I'm trying the ripley in the soilponics and see if a higher yield, earlier harvest is a possibility with Air Injection Technology.

Going to be hard on these girls with nutes and feeding in general...
Let's see what they can do with a little new tech and some old man skills!... :smokeout:

I'm gonna try some experimental stuff. Gathering pollen from males etc. Would I need permission of,the, original creator?

no you don't since cannabis is not a asexual plant. an only asexual plants can be patented under " 35 U.S.C. 161 plant patent act of 1930 " . but if you are going for a new strain it would considerate to at least acknowledge where their genetics came from.

Just a small update. The mephisto beans are liking the bending and twisting I'm giving them. White triangle and SODK are chugging along with no issues. Now my 2vast 2fast just dose not know what to think just yet as she the smallest and not doing to much. Healthy, just real slow to come around. Oh, I just retrained them so that's why a few are pointing down... They'll be pointing back to the led sun within a few hours.

Anyone heard of this? I'm gonna get me some!

Brassinolide, a plant growth-promoting steroid isolated from Brassica napus pollen

Key function: Brassinolide have been reported to produce novel growth-promoting effect (increase cell elongation and cell division) when applied to young plants that are active. It is also known as plant hormone or BRASS PGR Growth Regulator.
•Natural steroid found in plants.
•Promotes cell elongation and division in plants.
•It helps in increasing the percentage of fruit setting.
•Regulates differentiation in tissue culture.
•When applied during flowering stage, can decrease the chances of flower dropping and fruit dropping.
•Improves the plant’s ability to deal with diseases.
•Improves the growth of the germinating seed.
•Can be used in drench or foliar feed applications.
•Strengthens a plant’s immunity to stresses such as drought, salinity and cold.
•Is an important element for plant growth and helps increase yield.

Key ingredients: Brassinolide is a plant hormone. The first isolated brassinosteroid, it was discovered when it was shown that pollen from rapeseed (Brassica napus) could promote stem elongation and cell division. The biologically active part was isolated and named brassinolide.

Well, that interesting.... I believe a lot of the description sounds like my Dark Energy and Supernova combo I use. It's funny, my stuff pretty much said the same thing about cell division and elongation.

But what you mentioned sound very interesting to me. Where dose a guy pick this stuff up at and what dosage would they recommend.... All good stuff here guys!!!.

Wow, just did some reading on this stuff. Interesting. Looking for .01-.05 ppm of this in a drench system!!!. That is just a super small amount for the added benefits. Per the chart... So, we still need to convert 1/10th of .1 ppm per gallon to get .01ppm??. Is that like a dusting of a gram of dust??. Holy crap. I think the dust on my beer can weighs more then that!!. It's worth a try!!. Why not:pass:
