New Grower Auto White Widow and Purple Kush grow journal

Hey @Chris Stroupe patience is difficult, isn't it? You've had some very wise words from Witchy, she's really smashed the whole DWC thing in the 15 months or so since she started growing. I think your girls are going to be awesome!

I too want mine to hurry up. I'm in a coco/compost mix and it's sooooo sloooow. But I had decided to do a budget grow and this is the price I'm paying. I have two others in a Wilma and they are really putting on some height.

Don't forget that nearly every strain has multiple phenos, and you could have the "slow and steady wins the race" in terms of long flower time but humungous yield. Whatever you end up with is going to be superior to dealer weed and you get the added satisfaction of having grown it yourself.

Altogether now - OMMMM...... :pass:

Thanks eclectic Elle! Everyone here has been real helpful especially @witchyhour aka DWC queen! I checked out some of your grows how do you like that Wilma system?

It was a big learning curve, until I changed my nutes to something another grower uses, now it's all going great! I have high expectations because the plants look really good, even if it's a shared res. Pop by in another week or thereabouts, that's how often I do an update generally. This is only my second auto grow so I'm still learning but hell, that's part of the fun for me.

Day 88 update:
Buds finally starting to fill out a bit. I cut out almost all nitrogen because I was treating my big white widows for nitrogen toxicity. But I'm thinking it may actually be light burn my lights are a foot away from the tops of it but I can't get the light higher in my grow space and since it is the tallest plant out of 4. I also did some super cropping by squeezing and bending the tallest tops on it to get it further from the light. The other white widow and 2 purple kush plants look good. Waiting for I new lope in the mail to check out the trichomes. Not sure how much time I have left on them. Any thoughts are appreciated!

Those are all some killer looking trees man which one in the group is the best ?

Well the pictures 1-5 is the white widow is the biggest of the white widows with biggest buds so far and furthest along so probably that one but pictures 7-9 is the other white widow and it is the frostiest one out of all plants just a little shorter. Pictures 10-12 are the two purple kush, the one in pics 10 & 11 is the bigger PK. Picture 12 is the purple kush with the best cola out of them but the smallest plant of all! So to awnser your question I say the first white widow will have highest yield, and 2nd white widow and last purple kush will probably be the most potent.

Looking good man for the epsom use 1teaspoon per gallon in hydro, in soil 1 teaspoon per quart (1.3cc per liter) then follow up with 1/4 dose. For the fastest action us a foilar spray @ teaspoon per gallon. Next time you could amend your soil with dolomite lime if you want.
Patience man. I cut down my first CC almost 8 days ago and I'm sampling it now. It's fire I'm so happy lol
