New Grower Auto Newbie

These 3 ladies are now 38 days in (counting from time the popped through substrate). Growers choice GG auto. I just defoiliated yesterday so I have them under T5 bank for a day or 2 before going back under HPS. Using MILLs nutrients. (First time with them) used advanced nutrients before but they can be pricey starting out with them. It has been awhile since I’ve grown last time was photos. When the “Prince of Pot” had a catalog in CC if that tells you anything.
Seems like they are in preflower now. Glad I learned to expect them to go 120days verse the advertised 55-60 days (granted I figured from experience they would be longer than that just not double) Let me know what you think so far. Cheers

If accurate, that is ridiculous and complete bullsheet. It's bad enough that one has to add a couple weeks to grow time-frames in general, but that info is apparently a very bold and blatant lie and they should be held accountable.

Yea, if you do a search on this forum you will find within a thread someone discusses Growers Choice GG auto going 120+ days. I agree with you on them being held accountable. It’s ridiculous!

some northern lights are known to go 120+ days photoperiods are known for their phenotypes.some phenotypes even get a name almost like they are a completely different strain
there are pheno types within autoflowers to.some short some tall,some short some long (time) some green some purple up.
ya got hairs at day 38 so it may not go as long as you think most breeders lie throiugh their teeth re finishing times.some breeders are a lil enthusiastic with numbers and can be 2 weeks longer.DP, dinafem,mephisto are generally in the ballpark if not dead on
is a perpetual out of the question ?

most definitely perpetual. I got 6 more beans I’m gonna pop & order some more in a few days. Just need to find a good bean shop with reputable genetics.

With it showing preflowers like it is I didn’t think it would go 120 but autos are uncharted territory for me.

Day 44 update on the ladies.
Mills nutrients (A + B, R, Vitalize, C4 & botanicare CalMag) at 1/4 the low feed schedule.
538 +/- PPM
6.0-6.2 pH
Coco Coir
I have been real hesitant to defoliate only picking a few leaves at a time. Any advice in regards to this would be appreciated.

I know it’s been awhile since last post been busy. The ladies are almost 9 weeks old now. I don’t believe they will go 120 days like I had read thankfully. They did get very light in color & one pheno started turning purple but I am sure it is due to pH fluctuations since I am not running the coco like hydro. I always water with 6-6.2 pH water a week ago started adding Mills C4 to the A + B & CalMag. Always looking for words of wisdom.

*side note looking to enter into the LEDs. I am not trying to spend a bunch for an entry light I would like to get my feet wet first and go from there. Preferably 4 x 4 or 5 x 5 area. Thanks in advance.
