Alright folks water temps dropping winds picking up so that means I’m going blue catfishing tomorrow.What that really means is colder weather is closer and trophy cats 40 lbs and up. Some guy caught a 38 pounder Tuesday. Feeling like we gonna tear em up

Very nice @Jackson ! This upcoming weekend would be our town's annual striped bass derby, but has been canceled due to the virus... hoping maybe the lower fishing pressure will help out with a clean ocean fish.
Did get to net a beautiful salmon for a guy last week. Guessing maybe in the 7 lb range, he's out on the dock every morning throwing a chartreuse spinner. Was a gorgeous fish.

I was suprised to be honest, I knew they ran, but never really gave it much thought... To see it come in, off a dock at the end of main st has me rethinking things some. Been looking at Silverton spinners all weekend. Called jr (he's been cleaning and fixing the 12 foot boat, I've done the motor). May be trolling next weekend if he can get the paperwork taken care of.
Did have to fight this mud bug for my hook, he'd cleaned the anchovy and I guess wanted to find the source... he came home to be bait on another day.
