This is what they didn't get. A few branches on 4 pots. Not sure if they are going to grow anymore being hacked to shit but who knows. I did trim up a branch they left behind and even though it shrunk quite a lot it still was decent little buds for being 20 days early. Super sticky and very sweet smelling

That's awful news Sm0, sorry to hear about the break-in and theft. I can only imagine what kind of fear/anxiety that puts into a person, and I'm sure you'll be taking plenty of new securities and precautions going forward. I think we all tend to get lax over time (especially with people we trust,) and it just takes that ONE individual to tear town that trust and leave it wounded for awhile. So sending positive thoughts for a clear head to get things back in action. Try not to let anger and vengeance consume you, that just perpetuates the situation. Karma will catch up with those guys, let's leave the knuckle-dusting thoughts (however satisfying they may be to think) off here and focus on you getting your grow back going and showcasing your light setup (because it's a kick ass grow room!)

I lie to everyone about where my weed comes from.
Weed stealers are total scumbags, especially when I aint exactly rocket science to grow it yourself!
I'm glad you had some plants/bits of plant left at least you can still have a smoke off it when it's done.
Nice one on topping up security measures, I have a SMS Burglar alarm so if any one enters my property, I get a text alert and can see the images on my phone.
The alarm also allows me to hear anything that might be said and also I can speak to them and let them know there is trouble coming, so they better split before the fireworks start!
I have also been designing an electric dead bolt.
One of the problems with Electric locks is, cut the power and the lock will open as soon as there is no current.
I have gotten around this problem by using an USB (Uninterruptible Power Supply) inside the locked room.
The lock is opened by a remote radio controlled relay which is inbetween the USB and the Electric dead bolt.
So if someone cut the power the lock stays operational and the lock/locks are also hidden and there is no keypad or keyhole.
Any security measures taken can only deter, scare off or slow down any intruder but the harder it is for them to gain entry, the more likely you can protect your grow.
I hope that the problem is no longer an issue and you can just get back to some level of normal living.

Your right SOH I did let the anger get ahold of me and that talk isn't necessary here. This new room has had 2.5 grows in it. 10grand in material and paying my guys on the weekends who build with me daily. I work 12 hours a day and for 1.5 months of time I would come out here after work and work on the room. The only time I saw my kids was when I brought them out here. I made choices that put this room a few steps ahead of the rest by doing things most people couldn't imagine. But only for the long term benefit. Sure I could have made a simple yet effective room for half the price and time but I figured 5-10 minute savings over the coarse of years would pay off.
I live in a legal state and am a caretaker for patients that suffer. When I started this venture I wasn't sure where I would end up but this is the last place I could imagine. I'm shutting down. It's bad enough that I have to leave flood lights on all night and now carry a 22cal at all times. I can't physically come out here and not feel like throwing up. The room has very little use besides growing in but that's not going to happen. I won't sell anything off but I do know it will take a long time before I feel comfortable doing this again and I highly doubt it will be here.
As for the forums I never thought I would be as wrapped up in this place like I am now and I surely won't be leaving. I will still continue my current build and continue to build lights for others like I do now. That's more of a consuming passion then growing for me. I am also working on a pretty neat setup for indoor growing and afn is probably the best place to market the ideas. Hopefully now I can focus more on that and get going sooner than expected.
