I have an air-pump for koi's and it is noisy and make a lot a lot a lot of vibration. Even it is coled silent pump it make a lot of noise when the air comes from tubes to air-stones. What I did to lover this vibration was so simple and extravagant but took me almost 2 weeks of brainstorm try's and tests and finely almost before I fall in sleep I taught of solution. I don't think someone post this somewhere and me personally didn't took it from somewhere it was my pure innovation

Sorry for long text lets begin :
take 1 sock take a big one and thick one as well, place balloon in it and pomp it with all your breath force till it get full space in the sock and stretch it a bit.
Now tie it and tie sock as well and you will get some kind of pillow.
Tie your socks together like this it will stay fix and safe
Now you make some holes in
(if you made a dwc system you will get needed equipment) , otherwise just take any drill and place it under air-pump and on socks.
It will take all vibration and sound of it away and in the main while air will circulate and cool it off.
2-nd step is to make hoses noise free. You need to place some http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/27/Porolon.jpg/800px-Porolon.jpg
(I was lucky and had it in my pump already just cut some small peace of it) and place it into hose connector
but don't push it with force as it can block air, just cut some thin piece of it and place it there and try to breath trough it, it shouldn't be difficult otherwise try smaller one. As for warmth you can place a little fan near it and let it blow for 24/7 and if you need to cool it even more place some 2l frozen bottle of water near fan it will cool it down extremely. Let me know if more explanation is needed
