I am using 3L and 5L air pots currently. The 3L are just like 6 inch pots that are a lot taller maybe 2-3x and they seem fine for smaller autos. I will post some pics when I get home later.

Just think of it this way. How may times you seen people using 2L bottles fine? Well a 3L is 33% bigger than those with a system that makes the roots grow more efficiently.

Ok quick question is it possible to put more than 1 bean in these air pots or is it only 1 per pot, they sound nice and I can get them at my local hydro shop

I'd agree with TBM on that... perched water table is bad for this... it effecively reduces your total root space... which you need.

Take a reg pot. Use a 1" or less holesaw drill a bunch of holes in your pot. Line it with planters paper/fabric. Cheap, easy air/smart pot. No need to waste your money on an airpot.
