Looked higher in the pics but that's a good height for veg. I checked the specs on your light and they are similar to my GLH. GLH recommends 18 - 24" during veg and 12 - 16" for flower. Even though they rate yours to cover a 4 x 6' area, LEDs work best when you grow within their core penetration, which for your light is probably about a 2 x 3' area. For optimal results you should probably get the second one when you can afford it. I'm just finished a grow in my other area using two Blackstar 240 watters. It's also 4 x 4' and I'm seeing that isn't quite enough light. While the results were good, they are lacking compared to my GLH. So I'm thinking of adding a 3rd one soon.

Muddy, light is currently at 19". Problem is this, I'm short one light. I was wanting a second light though gotta hold off at the moment. The grow area is 4x4, the light covers 4x6, not exactly what I was wanting.Though, I might/should have one come flowering time.

Day 10

Transplant successfully completed. 36 of 36.

I have actually been stressing out about this. I had everything lined up then the funds fell through to help a friend get his car running so that he could keep his job. I'm too nice. lol.

But yes, I have done a lot of reading as well as following a lot of your material here on the site, which is much appreciated.

Until then though, every other day, I rotate all of the coco cups on the outside perimeter to the middle where the largest concentration of light is. It's the best I could do for now.

Here is my dilemma right now though, I am using a Hanna 98129 meter to test ph, temp, & ppm. Well the company that I ordered my items from thought that it would be ok to send me a meter that someone else returned. Low and behold... ppm's won't calibrate. I contacted the company as soon as I found out about this and they promptly sent out a new one. I have to wait 11 days though, d'oh! So until then, I am blindly dosing my nutes. I am keeping it on the conservative side for now but closely paying attention throughout the day for any signs of them needing to be dosed up.

Rotating them will certainly help. Not to say you can't get good results from just one light, just not optimum.

If you keep you dose low, say 1/4 strength, and keep the pH in check, you should be fine till your new meter arrives. You plants are still very young and won't require a lot of nutes for awhile.

Transcendence is what I am going for. As you can tell, I didn't skimp over much regarding this grow. I wanted to do it right, and right the first time. Though not as important to me as the educational aspect, my goal of this grow is to score at least 1.5-2oz of dried bud per plant. Not sure how feasible that is with currently having one light. :-/

I average about 1/2 oz per plant but I am growing SOG in a bubbly tank. I got 67 plants growing in 32 sq. ft. so I am very happy with my numbers. Yields come from really getting in tune with your grow. I try to get about 1 plant a day harvested. High rotation is my secret. I plant seeds each week and they are all femmed now.

I will be experimenting with a few non fem strains next go round so that I can find something I like and can grow whenever I'd like instead of otherwise dropping $430 each grow for a fresh batch of fem seeds.

I was thinking though, Would it be possible to have a plant herm, separate it from the rest, then harvest seeds when ready? That's the only theory that I could come up with to save money on seeds with this strain, and others alike.
