I've had the ph drifting down. Plan to do a res change but have time issues, it being xmas and all.

Hey up

Noticed this today
20151228_173814.jpg
the roots have blocked the drains and it's over flowing, fortunately it's finding it's way back into the res tank. It's only the 3 skunk that have got this root growth and I can only get to 2 to clear it. There's a drainage channel between pairs of drain holes, so it's not an issue not being able to get to the back. I think this puddling around the roots may have been causing my ph drift, we'll see.

Hey up

Autumn has arrived in the grow.

Yellowing at the bottom

And a bit of cheeky purpling at the top

They are at week 8 to 10. The blueberry amnesia being 8 weeks two superskunk at 9 weeks and the last at 10.
The amnesia looks ripest, I think the hydro and led have brought her on early and I don't think I'll be able to push her more than another 2 weeks. The white lable superskunk seem to like to veg a bit longer, they showed sex after the ami despite being older and aside from a little leaf colour change, they don't seem in any hurry to ripen. That will do for me, may push them for another month, I reckon I took them a bit early last time.

Hey up

I noticed the blue amnesia was yellowing a lot on the side that faced the light. So I've turned her around. I've also noticed that the areas of purpling are in a pattern that correspond to the overlap of the panels on the led. Think I'll get a diffuser for the next grow.

This has been a good learning grow. It has reconfirmed what I told myself after the last grow, double check everything! I haven't done nearly enough complete res changes on this grow, in future I will run a higher initial concentration in the res tank and top up with a lower concentration, then dump the lot and start afresh fortnightly.

I'll also run a diffuser and bring the light in closer.

The harvest will tell if I learned from my previous grow mistakes. I've set myself the goal of doubling my previous harvest of 6.5 oz for the tent. Fingers crossed I may be on target.

A few frosty pics.

The blue amnesia is kicking out a fruity smell. The skunk smells like cat piss. Must put the filter on. My loft absolutely reeks when there's no wind (most of the roofing felt has blown,it's a well vetilated space!)

This is the time I love and hate! Up till this point I treat it as an enjoyable chore, now it becomes an obsession! The hardest things is staying out of the grow! But, until it has been scientifically proven to me that spending hours staring at the plants doesn't improve yield, I shall carry on!
