New Grower 1st hydro grow

day 14
ph was 5.6 climbed to 6.0 reset to 5.7
ec went from 0.8 to 0.9
1 gallon mixed tap 0.4, rapids 0.1ec, maxi 0.1
reset ec to 0.8.
white foam is present but with pondzyme res smells clean roots are white and she looks a little more healthy. i raised the hlg135 all the way up thinking maybe its too strong ill just let her grow into it although i wish i could mount it to the top of the ceiling and not hang 12 inches. [may extend ballast out of tent with longer wire. hoping by sunday she starts taking off. humidity is high because its pouring since yesterday 20200522_204037.jpg20200522_204022.jpg20200522_204011.jpg20200522_204007.jpg

i think tonight ill empty and clean bucket add a little less then 0.8ec as it climbed up again and to me she has a slight downward curl (maybe too much grow] tap starts at 0.4 and 1/8tsp is 0.3 of grow so ill put a little less then 1/8

The leaves are behaving like a plant that is overwatered. As we know that isn’t a thing with DWC, so I think it should look better once the roots are in the water fully, but man that is taking a long time.

Thats a much better pic, JT. I am glad you are sticking it out with the plant. She is definitely growing, but is a funky looking thing. I have seen where plants stressed early in life and recover turn out to be some of the most amazing smokes. Shoot, some folks even purposefully stress them out to try and recreate this effect.

The small internodal spacing is probably due to the light being a bit too close. I am not sure where they are now, but you may want to back it up a couple inches so the plant can stretch a bit more. I really think she will grow more traditionally when the roots are established in the nutrient rich water.

I am tagging a DWC master, @Mr Green Fingers , so he can chime in!

i dont know what to do im having a hell of a time. shes still droopy, i removed some of my medium rockwool is bone dry there are healthy white fuzzy roots coming out ofnthe rockwool i have heakthy wet roots underneath. i cant really measure the netpot to water distance but when i put my ph meter in and touched the end into the water and marked where the netpot touched i measure about 2 to 2 1/2in so i raised it to touch the bottom of the netpot then took about 2 cups out. sighhhh why is this so difficult

At this point, JT, I would recommend decreasing the power of those air pumps, so the bubbles only pop on the surface, and then increasing the water level, maintaining at just an inch below the bottom of the pots. The faster the roots are in a stable level of water the better.

Bone dry rockwool isn’t good.

well 9ve done everything can last resort was i took the vo adjuster and turned it all the way down then a half turn up. it came factory at full power loght is all the way up sonmaybe she was getting too strong of a light. we will see in 12 hours she looks. if not better i may kill it and restart
