i live in pennsylvania its on and offIf you are not using Botincare HydroGuard you will need it soon with reservoir temperatures that high. I have the same problem even indoors in my house here in the summer. It is why I do not grow DWC any longer.
Yes the rigid insulation can help if you can cool just the grow space. Duct tape can hold them in place as they are very light weight. Is it humid where you live?
I do not know what pondzyme is and they don't tell you what is in it? I do not use anything that I do not know what is in it.i dont know well see i have some pondzyme coming ill increase the hydroguard
i had buckets drying over night so i put the netcup on a lod in the tent and drench rockwool. when i went to put her back kn dwc the roots that were aboit an inch out of the rockwool look really thin and shes drooping a little. hopefully itll recover and ill add an ac if i need to
prob not i put an ac tent is holding at 76f water temp is 71f i dont know if shell recover. roots look thin and not hanging and though there are a few comkng out of the root cube i just dont know. i checked on her and the rockwool is still soaked.....i lowered the bucket sown even futher im close to only being halfway up the bucket but the splashing i think is keeping her wet we will see in the am. if shes not growing by tuesday i may scrap her and start again in the fall.I do not know what pondzyme is and they don't tell you what is in it? I do not use anything that I do not know what is in it.
2ml per gallon of HydroGuard is sufficient. It multiplies in the reservoir.
I asked where you are wondering if a swamp cooler would be useful. I don't think they are where you live.
She sure looks alot better
Looking good, JT. Once the roots hit the water, it will take off.
ok i need advice before do anything i checked her today she doesnt seem as droopy. when i felt the top of the rockwool it was bone dry but when i look at the bottom theres a couple new roots poking and it looks wet ...the bucket only has about 2 2.5 gallons [halfway up] ...ahould i top feed 10 15ml of water or leave her aloneYou just need to keep watering from the top. A stream of water will encourage the roots to grow down into the tank or fill the tank to meet the roots but try not to get the bottom of the cube in the water. I always top watered continuously to get them going.
Go back and look at the picture in post #75 You see how I have water running in a constant stream down the side of the starter cube but not on it. The water streams around the hodroton and out the bottom attracting the roots to follow.
