Indoor 1st Grow - BlackBerry & NLxBB - T5

Thanks for the replies about the carbon filter guys, I guess I will have to invest in that soon.
But I have seen a few different posts about them and how to set them up, like do I hang the carbon filter, then put the inline fan directly to that, then ducting out the tent and out the window?
Or is it carbon filter up top, ducting, fan outside of the tent, ducting out the window?
If anyone has a drawing of it made up, I would appreciate that

If you can swing it, get the carbon filter. They are fantastic. I probably shouldn't admit this, but I never bothered to run the exhaust out the window. In fact, I've got my exhaust running out of the bedroom into the living room to help heat the apartment. I can't smell a thing when I get home.

:crying:

I am doing the same!! Have not fired up the wood stove yet this year!! Amazing how much heat from one 400 HPS!!

I would say that is personal preference I have a filter hooked to duct then to the fan mounted on the wall of the groom then ducting out jut the way I had to do it to support the fan weight

I'm also considering doing a scrog in there through the whole tent, is it too late to do that? Because now that I have LSTd those two plants, and been tying down other bud sites on the other plants its getting pretty crazy in there.
I haven't read much on scrogs but it seems like that would help control the bud sites. I could make it myself and just make it just under the length and width of the whole tent, but how high do i make the screen?
Or is the scrog even worth it? haha

Most anything will work. Pull through the filter and then place your fan where it is best for your grow. I put mine in the attic to isolate the noise and hung it from the rafters to cut down on the vibration. You barely hear it except when you are working in the tent. Here is how mine sits in the tent:

So looking at yours, I see the filter there on the left, then ducting all the way out the tent, and then the fan that removes air from the tent is outside the tent?
Is there a problem with hooking the fan directing to the air filter and then ducting out of the tent?

You can do it that way. I only have mine at the end of the run because it generates less noise being isolated away from the tent. Once I exit the tent it is attached to strait metal ducting up through the roof.

While the high end filters and fans are awesome I am using a cheap setup I got off fleabay and it has been more than sufficient for my needs thus far. The filter may need to be replaced a little sooner than the higher end ones but I got my entire system set up for under $100.

Great! I'm going to look into them on there right now then. I will post a update later, should be getting a couple things in the mail today
