Who doesn't love deer jerky

I've always found that most wild game flavor depends on what they've been eating. Venison that was munching on a field of peas was my fave. Runner up was an old doe that was feeding on sunflowers.
I love the flavor of tame duck, but don't even think of bringing wild duck for me to cook! YUCK.
Raised in pheasant country, and when I was a kid, the game wardens would bring pheasant to the school cooks from big confiscations from hunters that went over limit...or whatever. Corn fed pheasant that is done properly...oh boy!
Good morning!

Morning everyone :smokeout: :coffee2:
