The Dude used to do something similar… when I first got him he didn’t know how to walk on a leash…. He would either pull super hard, or just stand there and resist….. and every once in a while he would jump chest high and hit you with all fours and about knock you down. The pound he was in had him labeled aggressive because of it. It’s also the reason why he was so cheap…. Nobody wanted an aggressive, 60 pound pit bull puppy.

I eventually figured out he was just so damn excited to be on a walk, that was his way of saying “LETS FUCKING GO!!!!!”….
Bastard still does it sometimes, then wants to run 15 feet, then wants to walk wicked slow to catch his breath from all the excitement….
