Well today I went to check on my blueberry cheese in the woods. I brought fertilizer and harvest gear just in case. It took about 2 seconds of looking at a sample under a microscope before I cut her down.
45 mph on a country road with this big bag in the truck bed and I could still smell it. She's a beauty.
I'll be going back to give the hole some beneficial bacteria and fungi to help decompose the roots and prep for next year. I will also be digging wider next year. She took up all the width but not the depth. I've read plenty on that.
Next up is the cornfields.

Not much longer and it's harvest time for the cornfields. I'm thinking this week. Dry room is going to be packed!

That's a great haul that but say here in the UK the end of summer always bring rain so 80 pcent of what I ever grew outdoors was always lost to mould

Thanks. I can't wait for the rest!
That's so sad, I had exceptional weather this year. I've read so much about mold I've been keeping a good eye out. There was just a few spots with bud rot on the cheese and that's it. I couldn't imagine knowing I'm going to lose a certain amount.

Looks like that corn farmer should consider changing crops, nice growing

These girls are still going and need to hurry. These farmers aren't going to wait for me. Even if I harvest early I'll be getting well more than a pound .

Today was the final day. Farmers are harvesting soon and these babies are ready. I can tell you I'm at my limit for what I can handle by myself while working full time and in school. This was a lot of work. Trimming isn't going to be fun at all. I def got a few good lbs here. And not much more room to hang them. Can't imagine if the 2 giants in the woods didn't die.
I plan on buying a dry sift tumbler. My 5 gallon bubble bag machine isn't going to cut it here. I need something less labor intensive then bubble bags.

Excellent. Im glad you got to harvest something, that heat wave was pretty brutal to cpl phenos. Looks hella dank, and that sun kissed ought to have a nice entourage for ya. I dont evny your trim jail sentence… cause I think you are going to be alright!

I was nervous on the cornfield grow! I hoped you weren't going to post a picture of a cleared field! nice work, that was a dedicated mission dude.

Well all trimmed up and finished now. Took a total of 15-16 hours. One day of 10 or 11 hours straight with the help of a buddy halfway though.
I have 3, 5 gallon buckets of trim to tumble with my dry trim tumbler. One jar just from the trimmer that needs a bit of a sift. And 5 whole seeds. Not sure how that happened besides stress perhaps. As my buddy says its 2023 a plant can identify however it wants lol. I doubt I'll grow them so if someone wants them lol.
And for the finally weight........... just over 5 lbs.
