I broke the seal but there's still a yellow peg blocking, i'm crap at opening modern packaging, i have to get my girlfriend to help me open cheese or i just end up stamping on it!

Hopefully i'll get it done soon!

Always err on the side of caution! easier to add more than to deal with nute burn. I started my plants at around 350-400 ppms and the did fine. I waited 7-10 days then went to 600 ppm. also different strains tolerate more or less nutes in hydro, so raise your levels slowly. if you see the slightest burn on the tips of any leaves, the back off and keep it there. I found my white widow maxed at around 850 ppm in bloom. I kept them at 600 ppm until after the first week of flower. Not saying my way is the best, I'm still learning, but it sure did work in my case!

Since you are good with your hands why dont you build a nice scrog net above your pot it would do miracles and help you alot to control the plant

Here in the UK we moan when it's too cold, too hot, whatever .. we are a nation of whiners. I've always admired the American positivity, bu we just love to moan and be cynical.

In that tradition ... it is now British Summer Time! Yes with caps! It's Too Frakkin Hot!

The cab temp is now 33.7C, the bucket temp is 24.3 and the top-up tank is 24.7.

I think i've started a new project at a bad time so this will at least be an interesting log, lol!

Too much heat, going away for a week - "Ye, good luck steelrat, you frakkin noob it ain't never gonna work!" .. ahh sigh ..

Anyway it's fun trying and i chose AKR coz i know AKR like a lover. She thrives on heat up to about 35C in my experience, but i think we may hit 37+ this year in the You of Kay.

pH is 6.

My ppm readings ahve gone crazy!

ppm is reading 2090!, (209 on the meter with a flashing 'x10' symbol!) which is an EC of 4.0 on my 0.7 meter !

I checked the meter by measuring tap water, mine should be around 580-590 and it was 590 = 0.8 EC on my meter, so the meter is working ...

The plant is looking fine but she is still growing out of the soil and hasn't dropped roots yet :

Any advice greatly appreciated !
