Well you've now got me fantasising about a copper turning up and saying that to me and me answering "a copper is about to get his face smashed in copper" :D

Anyway my sick twisted mind aside.. welcome to AFN fella. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Purely out of interest, and bearing in mind that you've been good and said you'll look before asking.. what was it that you wanted to know about those beans?

:peace:

Welcome to AFN bro!

You will find no better pace on the net for Auto's.

Hey funk, welcome to the forum. You should love it here. Let us know if you need anything. :toke:

Thanks everyone. I am growing 60 day wonder. last time i had them on 12 x 12 but they claim to take even 24 hours of light, what is the best timmings for the biggest yield.
cheers

..and yes, you can let them grow on a 24/0 light cycle. It's a matter of personal preference with Auto's, I think. I like the ease of just letting them work, work, work with constant light till a few days before chopping. Others say that the (MJ) plants absolutely need a bit of dark. It's still not really proven what's best though. :2cents:

As Noods said it comes down to personal prefs and beliefs.. but having tried a myriad of possible light/dark regimes, I personally go 24/7 all the way now with autos. Why? Well this is how I see it:

A) You get much better overall control over your environment = more stable growing = better yield / no night/day shifts in temps or humidity

B) Your plants grow faster

C) You get bigger yields because the buds get more light

D) There is well-established science which shows that that not all plant species need a physical night-cycle, and cannabis is one of them

E) Your pots dry out quicker allowing for more water/nutrients to go into the soil and plant (they use more if there's more light)

F) You see less stretch (not a huge amount less but less)

The downside:

A) It costs more in electricity and wear & tear of your components

B) Although you get more control over environmental stability overall, you lose the chance of having a night period in the warm part of your day and that's really useful for some growers

C) Your plants need more careful monitoring and looking-after overall because they're working harder 24/7 and using more water & nutes etc.

So, yeah, basically the best answer to give you is to consider the different variables in your own, specific grow room and weigh-up whether you should/could go 24/7 or wotnot.

Brilliant advice, thank you, i have only had them under lights for a couple of days, so i may well do an experiment and leave 2 on 24 and take two out for 6 hours dark. The 60 day wonder is an ok smoke but a small yield. Any tips on an easy strain for a begginner with a bigger yield (i think i got about 20-30 grams a plant last time).
cheers
