It's a good way to learn about growing and over time it really pays-off if you make a plant or two a sacrificial lamb in the lab. Personally, the easiest, best yieilding and just by far my favourite smoke of all time is the big buddha automatics. I pull at least 2 oz a plant from those on a bad day in a 15ltr pot. On a good one I expect about 4 but I'm currently aiming for at least 6 in my 37ltr airpot.

They're quite resistant to pretty much all kinds of abuse and feeds.. although they don't like it when they get a cal/mag deficiency one bit, and they'll throw a strop pretty quickly. Other than that they pretty much handle anything.

That said, around this forum (bearing in mind a lot of them are auto specialists) the MI5 strain gets more praise than anything I've ever seen, so it's well worth considering that over the automatics.

Any tips on an easy strain for a begginner with a bigger yield (i think i got about 20-30 grams a plant last time).

Thanks for that i have got 3 "purple ak47 auto" coming in the post (from seedbank uk) What is the name of the place to order the seeds you have mentioned. Also i am going to try a couple in a small greenhouse (4 foot tall) on the balcony is there another strain for that set up?. I am on a learning curve here due to a large part of my pension being stolen by the banks/government/posh rich gits. I am dealing with artharitis and i retire in 2 years, just trying to get a little income to spend in India each winter plus of course a little pain relief.
