Indoor Zaaboot has gone to pot 2022 auto spree

Would you care for some worms with your tea sir
Far too new to soil to not fuck about loads, today the Sawney tent became a farm yard, a few hundred worms and the “finest hay in the house” :haha:

the temps in here have been reasonable but I would suggest a tad on the high side, I am sure by lunch time I will buckle and grab another Inkbird -the other works a charm

from my farm to yours - I bud you a good day

The Jack is dead - long live the Jack
If you remember the abused to near death Jack Herer from seedsman came through - tiny yield as expected but loverly!

She absolutely stinks, very complex smells, pine fresh, a bit of fuel here and there, citrusy at times…very busy for now. I don’t count but it was around 10ish days drying finished the final trim and most went in to a grove bag which will be heat sealed, and I bear filled a small grove jar bag for smoking now. When the bag is reopened I shall update snells

I smoked the scissor hash yesterday and it knocked me a bit, very potent high, uplifting, a touch trippy and long lasting, which wore off to a nice donut and a siesta

Take care

What's your inkbird attached too partner?? Is it heat and extract.. I bought one but never used it.. which seems to be becoming a theme of our chats hahaha mine's the simple too cold turns on a heater too warm turns on an extract.. I never used it because my ambient temps were always out of the range I wanted in the tent anyway so figured i could never dial it in.. if that makes sense.. they seem amazing little devices if your set up suits.

hahah, mate I know the feeling, My garage is like a stockpile of unused grow stuff...
So the one in the garage is used for heat only and it manages a radiator in the lung room, which is an insulated room inside the garage that the tent lives.
The controller sits in the tent, but it manages the temp outside the tent, also with a EC1 controlling the fan speed - the outdoor tent is perfect, have not touched the temps or anything since dialling it in.
For the Sawney tent, I will add a tube heater to the tent, and the Inkbird will only manage that, once again the tent has an EC1 for the extractor - the room it sits in has had the radiators turned off so there is no external factors to move it too much.

You should give it a go, the alarm is a right twat until you can get it out of range, the settings allow you to really play around, it took me around a week or so of fiddling to dial in the one in the garage over winter, have not touched it since the temps are almost flat lights on and off.

I stopped working a while back for a rest, but when I do work it involves copious amounts of travel, so I need to be away for 1, 2, and sometimes 3 weeks at a time so I need to full dial everything so I can leave the ladies, see them, keep and eye on everything, control things such as fans and radiators whilst abroad - and hopefully the Blumat with the 100ltr tank will give me 3 weeks plus of water.

Bugger me, that was a waffle - too much dab with my cornflakes

SBAK day 57
I think the days are right, at the end I will see the label but now I can’t see the date on it -right funny one - I wanted a sandwich so I prepared the ingredients and the only grater I had was covered in hashish - as my fair lady put it

bith the SBAK are beasts now, I can’t be bothered to keep trimming them down as it has stopped making a dent, and when I defol o tend to be a touch on the aggressive side…

they are currently in an EC 2.4 with a PH 5.8 and res temp of 22

the 2.4EC is bloom A&B plus I added a touch of PK9/18 and calmag - so keeping it simple and not adding loads of random things at this stage.

SBAK1 - rather squat but very broad - the tent is 1m side to side and you can both SBAKS have taken best part if a mate each leaving a gap for the CDLC

Hello all, just got back from a few days away, everything looks good in the Coco tent, and for my eyes looking rather slow in the Soil tent.
I expect thats normal, first soil grow, new light, tent, etc.... I shall throw out as many excuses as you need but lets just say I am sure the soil run will not be my greatest hour, but we have to start somewhere.

Anyhow, this morning I have been setting up the blumat for the soil tent, I thought it would take ages, but unless it is buggered and leaks everywhere it only took about 20 minutes al in after the initial soaking of the carrots.
I will test this for a few days and if it is all good - I can smile

As you can see, everything has grown at varying speeds, once again the environment is not near ready, I will get some insulation for the floor and put heat mats under that so the entire floor space is heated at an ambient temp, then an inkbird for RH, and the heat will continue to be managed by the EC1 which controls the extractor - I do need to get as automated as possible...the more automated, the more time in the sun..simple as that really.

So a couple of issues in here, some of the leaves are really deformed, I think it looks cool _ i do expect them to grow out of it once they pick up but any ideas what could have caused that so I can try to avoid it next time. Lights running at 35% for now (480w LED), temps very stable at pretty much 25 day and night with RH floating between 60 and 80%. Any ideas as to what it could have been are very welcome.

NUGZ2 - they are the happiest so far, they are also in the smallest pots - does that make a difference?

Happy growing

Small pots fill with roots faster, which means you will see above ground growth faster in them as the larger pots will fill up with roots before really taking off. I've stressed more than once over "tiny plants" (like my SBAK) moving slowly in my new larger pots only to have them blow up like crazy once the roots hit critical mass.

I must agree - trying to hone that in has been tough in this tent because it has standard 18ltr pots I tried starting smaller and transplanting up but that was a gaff, it is almost a delayed reaction - but once they hit they really do shoot up and outwards.

actually @Suki813 I get the feeling your SBAK is similar in pheno to my SBAK2 - same lightergreen leaves, whilst the other is a lot darker you can see it in the full pick - similar in color difference to your Bruce and SBAK :pass:
