Indoor Zaaboot has gone to pot 2022 auto spree

Sadly have to agree - I will not be going again that’s for sure. A real shame as it used to be such a great couple of days
I’m within 40 minutes of London and I refuse to do it lol there is loads of festivals etc all over that are better

agreed - going to head to Paradise GArdens this weekend to see if I can have a good old listen to music with a doobie and beer...in peace

Day 18
good day all - hope you are all well!
On day 18 now and they have taken finally - the growth is visible daily - just the way I like it.
Been having issues with heat still, forgot how reliant I have been on the AC, and without it keeping the temps stable over the 24hrs is autopilot. Anyway, I do think that slowed them down a touch at the start and the leaves have a bit of canoeing going on - otherwise they look OK to me.

Today the GLO F2 got a haircut, a topping and good old spraying with Remo Velokelp, she is the most vigorous of the plants so far. The Purple Punch is only slightly behind and is doing well, but the Afghan x NL is still struggling a bit - she had a lack of calmag at the start, coupled with the heat has stressed her a touch...she will be right me thinks. And the runt is runting along nicely throwing out random leaves.
Temps - 25 --> 30
RH - 45 --> 60%
Res temp - 22

The hose pipe ban has caused me some issues with getting tap water to my grow space, therefore so far I have been using 100% RO water which I find a real pain in the ass to control, anything you add it goes haywire, I will sneak a watering can in there later and top up one of the RO bottles with 5ltrs of tap ready for the next res change.
PH floating around 6.3 and 6.4, and the E.C is higher than I want right now at 1.4/1.6 but as mentioned without tap water I find it so hard to manage the res - if I just add Ro on top it does very little watering down according to the truncheon. They do not look over fed, if anything a few deficiencies are creeping in so I must get on top of the water situation over the next day or two to get it to where I really want at this stage.

Some snaps to show the progress from Thursday.

Some snaps for today - nothing really other than a bit of foliar Velokelp to perk them up after their trim up

Question time: There is clearly a Mag def on the Afghan X NL - they are all feeding from teh same res, are there any recommendations for a foliar Mag bottle?
I cant keep adding calmag to the res as it is expensive with respect to EC. Any ideas welcome to add Mag via a foliar application

cheers all

Can you just take the container off your system and manually top feed a good dose of of cal mag to the plant that needs it?

Not sure how your containers drain back into your reservoir but it looks like you should be able to slide a drip tray underneath the pot to feed and avoid having to remove the plant off the system.

I think that's the way forwards my friend - a saucer under that single pot and a bit of calmag heavy feed - :pass:

so that worked nice and easily - the simple solution is always the best - thanks @420autoflower :cheers: I put a couple of litres through with a very weak solution made up mainly of calmag. It all collected in the saucer with nothing going to the res.

On another note - I have been bugging about the heat in my tent, I found some of the CO2 bags in the drawer so hung them in the tent - in theory, if they emit a little CO2 and raise the PPM a touch the plants should be able to handle hotter temps. I dont have any of the kit to measure etc... so it is purely guess work from me based on good science. Lets see if I actually notice any difference.

Cheers

Day 20 - Bondage day
So, not a lot to report. They are moving along nicely, the SSSC ladies are now in cruise mode. Only the runt is being a runt, I had a closer look at her today and she has topped herself so I plucked a few leaves and let it ride. I am going to plant a Deadite in a bit, if it catches up I will swap the Mephisto seed for that to have a ful tent. In theory it should catch up a it is only 20 days behind and Sawneys are always super quick.

Anyway, some bondage for your perusal :cheers: they have all had a bit now except the runt.
