Indoor Zaaboot has gone to pot 2022 auto spree

Day 23
Hello al - I had my dates all wrong, these were put on their bed of poo to get to start on the 18th August making them 23 days, I thought they were closer to 30 hence being frustrated at their speed of growth.
Anyhow, now i have my dates in order I am still thinking they are all running a bit slow.
The Mephisto seed is just doing random shit and keeps topping herself, the Purple Punch is going well and looking strong along with teh Glo F2, leaving the NLxAfghan which has been very sensitive from teh start, she has now strenthened herself and is doing ok albeit behind the other two.

E.C 1.6, made up Green Haze A&B (3ml P/L each), Calmag (1ml P/L), and root tonic (1ml P/L). and the res gets topped up with 19.8 litres of water every few days.
PH, 6.2
Temps - 25-->27
RH - 50%
Res temp - 20
The plain RO water with no tap has been giving me issues, but I have found leaving a little in the tank during res clean helps keep it stable, then it is just down to me to measure what goes in. With my EC at 1.6 it is about the same place it would normally be for this time of their life but with pure RO there is an extra .4 of nutrients compared to .4 of thames water pipe stuff. I would like to say lets see the difference at the end but this grow has been poor with the heat so I will leave that until next run to try to compare.

The first few pistils have started shwing themselves so I would lke to say this is going to be the last week of veg - hopefully its time for some action.

Day 25
The ladies are having a great time now with teh rigs in place, the water distribution is much greater with those - along with the heat now all but dissipated w are in much better shape.

I have stopped all forms of tieing down no, and it is just a matter of keeping them clean, removing any new shoots that down have direct light and waiting - they are all showing signs of pistils albeit some faster than others, but that is expected.

Also, the bloody gnats have returned on queue! The weather cools down, they all wander to the garage which is warmer, then find their way in to the tent, they only way in is when I am in there as there are nylon tights across all ventilation holes. They popped up the same last year and were a real arse to get rid of, they dont eat fresh plant matter so no real dramas but they do get stuck in the buds as they mature, and I would prefer not to smoke some skanky gnat - I understand the concept of moving away from meats and finding new protein sources that are less damaging but this maybe a step too far, vaping gnats!

So I have covered the inside of teh lung room with sticky yellow pads and inside the tent I have meticulously added some also - lol

Same stats as before now changes with anything.

Looking good nice and clean plants look very happy

Day 27
Good morn/afternoonday everybody - I hope you are all keeping well!

So we are now a couple of days on at day 25, not sure why but this grow seems to be so slow but it is really not...stoner brain malfunction...
Anyhow, they are growing along nicely, and the two from SSSC are now kicking in and I can see them growing daily and the NL x Afghan has really spread out nicely.

Another thing worth noting, is that I had the labels for the NL x Afghan and the Glo F2, after looking at grows of both the plants, it is clear which is which...a real pain as the GLO grows along one main whilst the NL is much bigger from all sides, and the final tell tale was the leaves, it was clear so I swapped the labels over - apologies for the confusion, but it certainly had me bugging as I couldn't work out why the GLO was so big and the other was so small.

Right then, the two ladies from SSSC are on teh left hand side of the tent and re both doing very well now, really growing daily, and pushing out the white hairs, I spotted a very slight bit of tip whitening on a few leaves on her so today instead of adding another 10ltr of solution, I went in with 10ltr pure RO.
The two on the left hand side are a very different story, the Mephisto freebie is shite, I wanted to ride it out to see how she does but she has this habit of topping herself, she has a tiny spurt then tops herself again, looking at her now though, I do very much expect more than the 1 joint previously thought  . The GlO is doing OK, and for sure would have been a lot better had I known which it was as I would have left her to grow without interference and just grow up the main branch.

Nutrients at the moment are pretty much the same, the res is sitting at an EC of 1.6 which is made up of Root Tonic (undoubtedly the smelliest liquid in a bottle known to man - every time I open it I gag...giggety), Green Haze grow A&B, a dash of calmag and a drop of Silica. They will not get any more 'Grow' nutrients from now on, as the res depletes I will just top up with Bloom nutrients from now on.
Not sure which boost or PK to use this time, I have for some reason some to choose from - I have this one from Atami the Bloombastic, so I may just use that as I am such a fan of the Wilma so they should know what they are doing - but I also have some from Monkey NUtrients - anyone have experience with them?

Enough waffle, some snaps for your perusal.

Looking at those pics, I can't remember a time when the tent looked so bare as we go in to flower, the two on the left hand side have certainly played with my emotions, ultimately, I couldn't care less about quantity, as long as it is prime.

Have a jolly weekend you lovelies

Inkbird update
Hello you lovelies - I hope you have all had a pleasant weekend thus far!
As those of you in the UK would have noticed, the weather has cooled down quite a bit and as I grow in the garage I wanted to show what I do to keep temps within the right range. This works perfectly over the year, but this year as I am still on sabbatical and with the price of electricity I did not use the air conditioning unit over the summer so the temps got a touch high but normally I have it controlling cool and heat.

My tent sits inside a room I built in the garage, it is a proper stud wall with quality insulation including the floor and roof of it.
B65BC6DB-1FB9-4AAC-AB8D-B9A49522E160.jpeg

I use the garage to blaze up in the summer as well as the Carbon filter is always on.
From the Garage door side it looks like this:

Then the room itself which houses the tent
FD897CA7-3C92-4BFB-9842-BC3DCDA54382.jpeg

So as you can imagine, teh garage gets very cold and the air being drawn passively in to the lung room can get very cold, the temperature in the tent is controlled a lot by the light but during lights off it also can get cold.

The solution I use is two Inkbirds, one inside the tent the other in the lung room. I set the tent to 24, and the lung room to 23, when those are triggered the heaters come on, there is a small tube heater inside teh tent and small oil radiator in the lung room. By keeping the lung room at an ambient 23 the air being drawn in from teh garage is warmed up before going in to the tent keeping the tent generally between 24 and 26. And when I am not poor the AC is also plugged to the lung room Inkbird which kicks in the AC which it goes beyond 25 but not this summer.

It works well for me as I am away a lot so I can keep an eye and change settings remotely

Anyway, just wanted to show in case it maybe of help to anyone growing in a area where temp control is a must.

And because, here is a quick snap of the ladies this morning

Nice controlled set up m8

evening all - just a quickie, they are flying along now and the stretch on teh two SSSC plants is going along nicely, the tieng down has provided plenty of heds that will stay, a few still need to be removed but otherwise they are swimming along.

You can see the difference from yesterdays picture from todays below

Love the structure of the NLxAfghan, it is going to give out some spears
The will all get a good old clean up tomorrow, and the res now has the beginnings of Bloom nutes so plodding along

Have a good evening
