COMMENTS:

This is from yesterday, but due to ... [drumroll] ... A SNOW STORM ... Yes - in Spain! I shit you not ... We had zero internet and so was unable to post the update.

Anyway, Day 27 was a non-feeding day.
Some of the girls are really stretching for it right now.

It's interesting seeing the genetic variations within the Think Different range.
Some are very compact and a sea of green.
Others are very open and skeletal.

Plants seem to be constantly on the improve, and loving life right now.

Noticed some funky new growth on one of the girls right at the base.
Totally unexpected.

Going to be a very interesting growing adventure!

COMMENTS:

A day inside means a day to get the tent as I want it ... Finally!

Nifty work around to prevent the 4th light tripping the mains.
Military straight lines.
Just the way I like it.

P1200417.JPG

Plenty of space for moving around when watering.

... And the girls had their first taste of Bloom feeding, except for the little lady that's about 1 week behind the pack - she had her own special diet of Grow nutes.

Oh - almost forgot.
One more thing.

I'm having a wee play with the light schedule.
Decided to see what would happen if I mimicked Mother Nature a little.

Still strictly 4 hours of 'lights off', so technically, a 20/4 schedule ... BUT ... I'm staggering the 4 lights ON and OFF periods, 15 minutes apart, to give a pseudo sunrise/sunset, rather than a Hard Darxit, the girls are being nursed through a Soft Darxit ... [that's a little attempt at EU flavoured political humour]

Soooooooooooooo ... imagine if you will ... at 'lights on' time, rather than all 4 x 600 HPS coming on 'hard', the first light will come on, then 15 minutes later the second, then 15 minutes later, the third, etc., to mimic the gentler, gradual reality of a sunrise.

Similarly, the reverse 'sunset' leading up to lights off, with lights being staged 15 minutes apart until full darkness at the scheduled 'lights off' night time.

Non-feeding day.
Tent is quiet, girls look happy, environment is stable.
One of those perfectly boring days.
Touch wood.

What strikes me with Think Different is there seem to be be two very distinct phenos, with variations within, but essentially two diametrically opposed structural variances.

P1210425.JPG

1. The skeletal thin fingered supermodel, and

P1210433.JPG

2. the luscious shrub, built like a brick shithouse, with leaves like man's hands.

Going to be fun to see how this plays out.
I have no idea what to expect in terms of height or girth, so this is pretty much a Forrest Gump "every day is like a box of chocolates" kinda grow - which excites me!

Very common with Think Different and adds to the final surprise! The heights of TD can be significantly different as well, in fact they tend to be. Let this beautiful strain go to it's limit and the final product is a superior connoisseurs sativa high!

COMMENTS:

Restaurant was open today.
Nothing spectacular, nor disastrous, to report.
Long may it continue!

Girls seem to be enjoying their environment.
One of them seems a little averse to nutrients, with a bit of yellow tip, but it must be super-sensitive, 'cos the nutes have been running at 1/4 to 1/2 strength.
It's only on one of the girls, so looks like she's 'the one' who is going to demand a little extra pampering.
There's always one ...
