That is what we are all here for. We agree and disgree with others posts. That way others can see it is more than one person's opinion. Yup 20/4 works for me for veg. I used to use 16/8 but the groth was better under the 20/4. I give them 24 hrs. of darkness and then 12/12 and they show sex almost immediatly 3days usually.

Well Nelson you are obviously onto something with the 24 hrs total darkness then 12/12 cuz if you can get them to show in 3 days that's pretty impressive if you ask me!

They don't all show that fast but some do. It seems to do something to them quick. I'm no scientist I just screw around and keep doing what works ofr me. Someone gave me that tip I can't remember who and I ried it and it works.

IT'S A GIRL!!! The Orange Crush showed her first pistils today! It's a good day indeed!

So this is my plan. And of course feel free to chime in with your thoughts on my plan...

Since I ended up with only 1 Orange Crush... I need to polly her with something. I have the 2 Mystery Kush growing with her that are just a week or two younger. They went to 12/12 with her so I should have their sex show here soon. I'm gonna polly her with one of those Mystery Kush males if I get one. Grow the result of it out... THEN take a female or two from that cross and work IT to an Auto. If I grow out a Syrup x Speedy Gonzales cross I made and hope for a male I would be curious to see how she crosses with that.

So at this point I hope to get one Mystery Kush male to polly the Orange Crush because in my heart of hearts I do believe this Mystery Kush is actually Purple Kush. But I have no way to prove it true since it's "Bag Seed". So let me know what you all think about that! You know I ALWAYS love to hear you all's opinion since we have such a GREAT network of fantastic growers here! HAPPY NEW YEAR BUDS!!! :buds:

Do you plan to cross with the auto then back cross to your orange crush x kush cross?

Either way it sounds like a good mix and I would take along on all the progress start to finish

Congrats on the girl bro. It's ashame you don't know the exact genetics of the kush. That's the only part about the idea that stinks but you only have 1 crush so your kind of hog tied. I think your plan is a great plan tho. I'm here for the ride no matter where it takes us. :smokebuds: how was your holiday?

If you could just take a clone, of that Orange Crush, you could keep her for awhile. Just take a cut now, off the lower branch, and root it. You could then use that cutting for a mother plant to take a bunch of clones. Then pollinate your main girl with your mystery Kush. Take the seeds, and pick a good male, to back cross to a Orange Crush clone. That is what I would do. If you would do that, you would preserve more of your Orange Crush genetics. You can take a cut from a flowering plant, but it will take longer to root. It can't hurt to try.
