not sure looks like you put wires in the side and lug it in maybe what do the directions say about that piece?

Looking at it closer I just realised I loosen the screws fit a plug tighten again then I'm good to go bed time for stu haha these 12 hour shifts are taking there toll on me

Hope you take this the right way but you need to find someone competent to wire that up for you
Going by your first pic there was a cable exiting the fan ( what was joined to the connector strip in your last pic) no reason to remove that block
So was there a length of cable coming out of the fan without a plug?

EDIT - maybe I got confused with rippers pic?

Aye you got confused with rippers pic lol I seen his then unscrewed the part and it's fine I have it sorted now just being an idiot n flapping about nothing haha if all else fails I know a few electricians to do it but I don't think I will need it just a 230v wire and plug to match

Take it the fan was second hand? still no reason to remove the connector strip if it was connected to the motor wires ;-)

To my knowledge the fan is new I think there is a bit of confusion here. First picture is how the fan came, inside the box part it looks like the second picture. Now that I have sussed this simple problem out I can see what's going on haha wire through the rubber seal then the 2 ends into the fixture seal it up and I'm good to go hopefully haha

So what colours are the cables on the connectors?
One will be live (brown) and one will be neutral (blue), there will be no earth connection as this will be a class 2 fan.
So you need a plug head and 2-core flex, or a 2 core and earth flex (and cut out the earth cable).
