It's currently at day 54 (Dinafem's site says 80 days) and about 25% of the hairs have turned red with plenty of new-ish looking white ones. The buds haven't begun to really swell yet, so I'm just wondering if this is normal or should I start inspecting trichs? Maybe the light (Mars Hydro TS 600) is too close? (17 inches) I'm hoping this is normal growth for the WW XXL. If anyone has any input, I'd be happy to hear it. I can post photos tomorrow. Thanks!

It is normal for some of the pistils to age-out as they did not get fertilized and are past their prime. Pictures?

Mars Hydro says you can use the TS-600 at 12 inches for flower. So not a problem with the light.

I currently have a dinafem ww xxl auto going at 60 days....40-50% hairs are turning with trics mostly cloudy with very few changing to amber. Since I'm Running a different light schedule than most, it usually causes breeder times to change... mostly sooner than expected.
This is my second run of the dinafem ww xxl and I'm impressed by structure and appears its going to yeild well above 3 oz out of a 2 ltr pot.

Thanks for the input, guys. I figured by keeping the light at 17" that I could be sure that the red hairs weren't from too much light but now I'm thinking that I should lower it to 12". Here's a few pics. Not the best quality because I didn't want to shut the lights off for the photos.

Perhaps a staggered harvest is in your future.
I hope that's not the case since I prefer to do all of the trimming in one sitting not to mention that the only really good drying space is in the cabinet where the grow is.

I took some trich photos and it appears that the majority have turned cloudy with a few still partially clear.. (the last photo shows a few that have some amber) ..I think I'll be chopping in less than a week.

Be cautious with how close...I recently moved my ts1000 to bout 12" and toasted some top buds even though air movement was good and temp at 80. The ts1000 is stout when too close and I learned the hard way.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes on it. I'll most likely move it up a few inches. No sense in messing up this far along.
