Unmundane in the Membrane
Day 74
It looks like tomorrow morning will be chop time for this one. I was going to wait a few more days but now seems about right to get the highest amount of CBD. Since I wound up dealing with a few days of really high heat, I imagine that I'll be getting a little less than three ounces but I'll just have to wait and see. One thing that I learned during this grow came when it was time to check trichomes. Up until today, I never cared for the whole process of trying to zoom in steady enough to get decent pictures. My doing so would mean trying not to smoosh the lens of the loop to much against the buds while trying to see through the reflection of the lamp in the phone's view finder. Now I look at it this way. In a few days, these buds are all going to be in the bottom of big brown bags and they're going to roll around in there a bit and then do even more rolling around once they've been jarred up. A few 'bumps and bruises' a few days ahead of time's not going to degrade the overall quality to the point that I'm going to notice. So, from now on I'll do what I did this morning and smash the lens of the loupe right up against a pistil and snap away. These will probably be the last photos as she sits and this will most likely be my last grow journal.
