I try to hang plant upside down in dry space and blow fan on them until they seam dry and brittle.

I then put in glass jar and seal it in with lid. I leave sealed for a week or two then I open jar for a day or so to air it out, before I seal jar again, and I repeat this process until I feel like cooking it in my ardent for edible use.

I have a jar of bud that turned white mold. I might not have dried it enough before sealing in jar. Can this be used still ? Can I clean the white mold off ? I cook for edible use.

Thanks for your help and advice.

Cut the mould off , inspect, decarb and make tinctures. The decarb and alcohol will deal with the residual invisible mould. Lets not forget that if you were to go look at the grapes that get used for your wine or the berries used in your commercial smoothies they'd likely have mould. The issue is breathing it in but that doesnt mean it need be wasted. Im not a scientist so can only give you my thoughts.

thats not how you wanna do it. that will leave the inside of the buds wet and the outside dry which can cause guess what? Mold issues when curing.
Bin it and better luck next time!

After drying, you put buds in jars… burp every day 15-30 min then reseal. Do this for two weeks before leaving jar closed for long periods. This’ll help eliminate any residual moisture .

Air dry for about a week at 60rh, put in brown paper bags till dry-the bags help pull the moisture from inside the buds. Trim. Then put in your jars.
