New Grower White Label Genetics - Auto Dubai

Week 5 update. ADP#3 has shown sex and is starting to stretch. ADP#2 is putting on a lot of side branching and has started to stretch a little, but no pistols yet. At first glance, its hard to tell a difference between her (untopped) and her sisters (topped) because of all the side branching. I'm glad I let her stay. ADP#1 is showing what appears to be magnesium deficiency pretty bad. (I'd love to hear what yall think it is) The margins between the leaf veins are lightening and it seems to be primarily on new growth. I added some epsom salt to everyones watering on Monday. I need to water them again tonight, so I'll probably add some more tonight along with extra kelp and molasses. I had this same issue last go round as well. Anyone have any good organic additives that I can add to the soil mix to prevent this? More kelp? Maybe its just not plant available yet? The soil mix has been "cooking" since before Christmas. I mixed up a 50 gallon batch of it in a big tote and have been keeping it moist since then. I've been just scooping out whatever I need for potting soil for house plants, veggies, cannabis, whatever since I made it.

Nice healthy and bushy. Looks great. Do you defoliate any?
Thanks! I'll take some of the bigger fan leaves off if they are blocking primary bud sites, but I try to do it a little at a time to minimize stress on the plant. Later in flower when they are doing more "ripening" than actual growing, I'll get a little more aggressive with it. What do you like to do?

awesome growth man, my girls never get a proper bush style going on like these. great stuff.

i thought epsom salts were best for organic magnesium supplement? but like you say they can take time to become available...out of my league i'm afraid buddy, i throw CalMag at my girls and i think even some organic growers opt for CalMag just for the efficiency of the stuff.

Week 6/7 update.
ADP#3 is still the only one showing signs of flowering. She's stretching and towering over her sisters. At this point I'm coming up on two months of veg and quickly running out of room so I changed the lights from 24/0 to 11/13 to encourage the other two ladies to start flowering. All the ladies have shown magnesium and/or calcium deficiencies so I have been adding WSC (water soluble calcium from Korean Natural Farming) and epsom salts in with the past 6-ish waterings. The new growth looks much better now. I was taking some of the lower fan leaves off last night and broke an F-ing stock off on ADP#1. At first I was really disheartened, but I decided to "make lemonade from lemons" and cut some clones. I built a quick and dirty bubble cloner from stuff I had laying around. I figured that it cant hurt anything try and it didnt cost me anything. With how long shes taken to flower (i.e. she hasnt even started yet...) I have a feeling she didnt get the auto trait, so I may get some viable clones after all. This is my first attempt at cloning and it was rushed due to the circumstances, but, you'll never know unless you try, right?

4/15- ADP#1. The lower portion thats wilted is where the branch broke off. It was already split and barley connected.
I moved it to try and secure it and that's when it snapped off.

that's some quick thinking on the clones man, never saw someone do that with an auto that didn't auto. hopefully produces bud worthwhile!

hopefully the light switch will kick them in to gear - they look great man awesome bushy structures, not too much calmag def' either. great stuff matey!

Week 8 update:
Switching the lighting schedule seems to have done the trick. The two that weren't flowering have started to show sex and have begun stretching. ADP#3 (the only one that actually autoed on its own) is still stretching and is CHEST HIGH on me. The new growth on the plants looks much healthier so I cut back on the WSC and Epsom Salts. The clones are still alive and seem to be happy, but no roots yet. It's getting really hard to take decent pictures with how big the plants are getting...

really impressed with the structure of all these girls man, glad the lighting sorted them out - are you going to try and up the hours again or just maintain 11/13?

good job!

Thanks dude! I think Im going to leave the light schedule at 11/13. I'm afraid if I go back to 24/0 or even 18/6 that they might re-veg on me. It'd be a cool experiment to try if I had the room, but these girls are too big to risk it at this point. Im already nervous that I will run out of head room as it is.....

that's fair enough man, i think these are geared up to produce no matter what now, look forward to the buds bro!
