Mephisto Genetics White Crack + Sour Livers SIP LOS Grow

Well I’m a happy guy cuz my mephisto testers came in and 1 of the 2 I’ll be test running in my eb jr’s is.....drumroll please.....GOLD GLUE! :woohoo1: I am currently running those 2 that are crossed from meph gold glue X sour stomper and they are the dopest open structure giving itself perfect light to all the bud sites without 1 big of training on either

She’s starting to bulk and frost up and her satellites came out crazy where they all wound up same height in perfect circle around the main on both

Still nothing but plain water and topdressed craft blend a couple times! Sure am excited I got gold glue to run cuz yours was a b-e-a-utiful example of it!:smoking:

What days are they on? How do you like the light?

Been really busy with buddy and his new house, we did almost complete restore .... still moving stuff from my shop to his new house ....

I like the light slow ...... pricey but a beautiful build, solid - excited to use on vegetable starts here soon when I flip to vegetable and flower starts for the summer- I don’t grow inside in the summer ....

SL is almost done at 70 days and WC is around 67 days or so .....

SL is doing fine but WC has some sort of PH issue but she is going to finish with some nice frosty buds ...... Peace MOB

SL in new tent with 150 watt HPS - old school light to finish up grow - two plants in an OVERSIZED 2x4 tent was one too many

I think my gold glue X sour stompers are maybe 10-14 days out and then the mephisto testers getting cracked! Think I may run them in the earthbox jr's but haven’t decided! Only thing I have decided is I’m gonna have to order a 2nd tent tomorrow cuz 1 isn’t gonna cut it with the 3 breeders testers I have to run cuz closet is getting old trying to water in it! Will snag some pics in a few to see if my estimate looks correct on finishing window so know when to germ the new ones! Also almost forgot but MoB should I put the soil into earthboxes and add the worms several days before I’ll need to transplant the lil ones over?? Figured so but not sure and also wondered if I should plant some cover crop I can chop when I transplant or don’t bother so can cover them for the wormies?:thanks: amigo

Ive seen it done both ways, add soil and plant or let sit for a week or two like I do - I feel sitting helps equalize the soil and gives worms a chance to grow a little too - I do layer and mist soil as adding to box with final mist on top and then fill the reservoir and plant in a week or two - I DO NOT water in the transplant- rather I make sure starter pot is semi moist and mist top very LIGHTLY after transplant - I then watch like a hawk but so far no issues - reason is soil is already moist and last thing you wanna do is over water in an Earthbox ......

Bigger plants such as White Crack need larger boxes - next White Crack I’ll try in a City Slicker or Original Box, so plant size and box size should correspond somewhat .....

Earthboxes work best without a cover crop - in fact two growers I follow have tried it both ways and both concluded the plastic mulch cover works best and from my experience the worms love the mulch cover as it provides moisture for them ..... In my mind cover crops work best in larger no till grows but not so much in smaller container grows - in 2018/2019 grow I ran both and had beautiful cover crop and cloth pots and worm population was less at end of grow than start whereas my Earthbox grow had more worms than original- issue was cloth cloth tend to dry out around outside thus no enough real real estate for the worms ....

Good luck with Testers and enjoy the fruits of your labor!

Peace,
MOB

Thanks buddy! 4th round of planting and just now have a tray of rootmaker starter pots coming (reg square ones)! I know u said sometimes can be a pain getting plants out so any tips? Was thinking of slicing down 2 sides m using a reusable zip tie to seal it til time to transplant! Then opening zip tie opens the sides to lift it out but let me know if that’s an unnecessary step! Also in my 2 gal rain science bags would u recommend not worrying about adding worms cuz so small of a pot? They are like woven mesh but sure u know what they r already! May run testers in tent 2 in those and go original plan and do 2 diff rocbudinc in the ebj’s?!? Not sure as of this min but did finally get all the stuff to start em right! Got heat mat with thermostat/ seedling tray n dome and has height extension to like 10.5” tall, and got some good dynomyco I can sprinkle into seedling soil and transplant holes! Plus those rootmakers and also btottle of castile soap to try since goblin has nice results n was only $9! Experimenting next run gonna be interesting for sure!
