Well buddy I am officially taking the plunge so I know what I’m doing with feeding etc when this harvest finishes n I swap to earthboxes! I have order from local place to grab 10lb of castings but also 1/2lb of worms too! :woohoo1::yay: Gonna make a small worm bin and get to raising my own so can add em into the boxes before next grow! Couple questions tho: Do u still add perlite into your soil or no cuz the worms handle that job?? Also I saw in several videos they were talking bout hessian cloth blanket to cover worms with in the bin?!? What do u use to cover the worms and their food in your bin?? :thanks:

Cover worms with cardboard, good brown only cardboard soaked in water before hand ...... or old cotton - I stress the word cotton ..... Kitchen Cotton Flour Sack Towels if you have them - soak before covering .... I also have a zipper LOD on the worm bin ......

Perlite, I don’t even have a bag on hand - no perlite in the Earthbox - peat moss but not perlite - reason we want wicking action in a SIP Container not drainage - so whatever perlite is in soil mix is all there is in my dirt - WC is using BAS 3.0 dirt and others are a mix of some bags of KIS - BAS and Compost from my bin, I could not duplicate the soil used on those but WC is just straight BAS 3.0 with some dolomite lime and some EWC castings mixed in along with some ground egg shells and some rock dust .....

Good luck with current and you’ll love the Earthbox, especially the watering part - not at all like cloth pot watering - so easy a non gardener who can follow simple instructions can do and with cap over the dirt say goodbye to gnats and other pests .....

When you order your Earthbox if possible get the red covers or buy extra when ordering - red covers are stronger .... also if getting Juniors order extra original covers and double cover that box - no bugs can get thru period With two covers on.

Good luck!

That wc is a beast. The sl i did didn't get real big either but i believe i grew 6 of them and they were all very uniform in size taste n quality which i loved the smoke off it! It was cool they were all so close it showed the effort put in to make a stable genetic.

:thanks: - WC is just over a month so good bud progress for young girl, she’s gonna have some nice ones on her - glad she is the youngest as SL will probably be moving here in a week to another area so as to give WC more room, she is going to fill the tent I suspect .....

SL is already staring to show some frost on her cola leaves, should be exciting to watch her this final 4 weeks ..... How was yield on your SL average per Plant and time to finish?

Thanks,
MOB

Thanks for checking out ..... Nugs is about same age, thinking about 70 days - her pop date was around 12/3 ..... We did just a partial harvest, she still has more time but close ..... Looks like 3-3.5 oz will be total dry harvest but my buddy is thinking 4+, hope he is correct ...... how are your NUGS doing in comparison?
Thanks for info. Mine look like they should yield 2 to 4 Oz's a piece some of the taller ones really put on alot of bud and some very dense flowers on all!!

I have a few nice buds but you for sure have a few super nice cola buds, think mine got a little too much light, even though I was watching that - had wrong set of lights, lesson learned - away we grow .....

WC and SL are under a new light that’s adjustable so all is well thus far but so was NUGS at this stage ....

Good luck, you’re close!
