Mephisto Genetics White Crack + Sour Livers SIP LOS Grow

Good call there wasn’t even thinking of that!

Take a look at the last not even 24 hours ...... I did some training of the cola bud as I wanted the perimeter buds to grow up and cola was getting too tall so here are some fresh pics after three short training sessions ...... @TxRebel or Mark as mentioned if I didn’t have an oversized 2x4 we would already be busting thru the walls - as it is WC is partially shading SL and we are just starting to build buds

After this grow rounds out I’m not planting more til tents totally empty! Then gonna grab couple juniors and add the autocob to tent between the 2 qb panels for lil extra oomph! Then add extension onto the top so have just under 8’ to work with! The plants in my closet in the solos seem to have tighter node spacing than the ones in tent under qb! They are almost 20” now

I guess grew some more cuz just over 22” already! Gonna have to feed em in the bases I made once nematodes arrive! They don’t control it I’m just buying some damn ladybugs to live in ma tentski! After harvest all done adding extension and either a reg eb with a jumbo strain or 2 jr with a more manageable size! Hooked my buddy up today and he paid me with these so this + my rocbudinc beans coming I’m a happy happy guy!:woohoo1:

I got rbinc roc berry X cookies n chem (Roc-it fuel) coming and been doing purple Rolex as freebie and those can grow to top of a tent if u don’t train the damn things so ready to see what I get!:smoking:

:welcome:

Most Welcome - Glad to Help .....

Gorilla Tent will work just fine, nicely made tent ......

Humidity will go down with an EB as the cap keeps that in check, unlike fabric pots ......

If it were my tent and I had time I would grow a monster and use the Original Earthbox - Two Juniors will be tough to hold in a straight up
2x4 tent unless they are compact plants ......

If you wanna add a fabric pot or two into the mix that’s fine but myself due to gnats and just the work involved keeping a fabric pot going compared to a SIP Container is not worth the investment verses yield - UNLESS I’m starved for smoke and want to push the limits, which I have done btw .....

As for grow / flower time shortened - funny you should mention as I have noted as well - flower seems to be coming in short order .... whereas @slowandeasy had just the opposite with his first Junior grow ...... I say funny as after I purchased the new light the maker claimed shorter times would happen .... I’m like yea right, bla bla bla ..... BUT THEN I caught two videos that have changed my thinking ...... Watch these two videos, in their entirety and I believe you’ll learn why my plants are finishing faster and anyone interested in a new light should watch theses two videos - trust me when I say some is boring but hang in there - think anyone Who invests some time will be better educated on selecting a new light .....

This one starts a little slow but hang with this guy, he is smart and you’ll discover why the light charts we use today are not valid anymore ......

Hope this helps better understand why my plants will finish faster!

Peace,
MOB

PS .... keep all strains at same growth stage - they don’t have to be same strain but their expected grow times should be close - you don’t want a flower plant in humidity required in veg stage!

My White Crack took a little longer to finish than when in Coco, but the main reason why is because I always did my White Crack Coco plants in 1/2 gal pots. The smaller pots and very frequent feedings help to finish them sooner than in larger pots of Coco. That being said, the Junior was not that much further behind in toal grow time and gor larger than the Coco ones do. So the quality is very high on both, but the Organics is superior in taste and effects IMO. Plus it looks and feels nicer. I Candy Cane trained her nicely, but too much training can add a little time.

Yes light spectrum can and does effect the grow time as well as the amount of stretching it does. Is this the first time using this light? I am always fown for my plants to finish fast if the yield is decent. I will be interested to see how the plants progress. So far that Sour Livers looks like it is budding quickly! White Crack looks nice too, but not too sure if it will finish sooner than normal. Too early for that prediction. You havent done either strain before, so you have no baseline info to compare to. How much was that light btw

I looked earlier the ES180 is $420!

Ok MrB I am taking the plunge-arino! I made an order from a local place for 1lb of worms to start! Think I’ll start with small Tupperware house I’ll make and add lil spout at bottom I can open to drain liquid/worm tea juice out the bottom and if I take to it and they survive I’ll move onto a worm casa like u use next! Also gonna order 2 jr n 1 full size earthbox but not sure which I’ll grab 1st! After 1/2lb off my 1st 2 in just 5gal fabric pots not even filled to the top I think in earthbox I’ll have plenty big harvest to hold me til next harvest! I’ve already shared part of my 1st harvest (gave my mom my entire cream caramel plant after in chopped and hung it) and gave her some from gelato harvest for edibles and have a 3rd almost done and 2 full qt size ball jars! 2 really well grown plants I’d prefer over 6-8 that are just crammed in and only able to get so many photons each so less is more in the earthbox I’m thinking!

That’s nice ..... Your mom for sure appreciates that ......

Ger the original and grow one big one - you will freak out when she is busting out the sides ....

I’ve grown both sizes and the the growth stunned me in the original - don’t get me wrong, Juniors do a fine job but only reason I’m using juniors is for variety and small plant quickness - I need to replenish - my last good indoor grow finished April 2019 and that smoke lasted until an outdoor summer completed .... outdoor was good but no compare to flavor and variety of of indoor autos and the outdoor supply is wearing down too .... Enough about my grow, get the Original ......

Good luck and be sure to tag me when you fire up!

Yes on the light, first full grow - I had it for Nugs too but took down early in favor of the COBS which proved not the right move ..... I did do a WC in November of 2018 but I flipped up that grow so much i couldn’t use as a baseline even if I wanted too ..... Maker of the light claims far red helps speed up growth as well as helps with branching - will see how fast they finish ....... SL is a new year day girl so her age is easy to track whereas WC came after by 5-7 days - WC was originally being grown for my buddy but his house sale didn’t close on time so I’m keeping her, will start him another her soon when NUGS and Goldie finish .... anyways back to finish time, will have better picture as we enter March .....

Light was $365 plus tax - free ship - list is $420 but I got on Black Friday - it shipped about 12/10/19 - build quality is beautiful and its dimmable.
