Mephisto Genetics White Crack and Kis Organics Soil

Well I weighed my White Crack today, and it was 98g. So with the samples, the yield was about 3.5oz. That is pretty much what I predicted, so I am really happy that I was even close. For the first try, I would say I did a decent job. I believe that with top dressing the yield would be about 5oz. I have a Forgotten Cookies thay is starting to preflower. I top dressed her yesterday with a little Flower Top Dress and Craft Blend. I watered those plants from the top today. I didnt measure out the top dressing amounts, it was 2 clear cups and a sprinkle of Craft blend in each one. The Forgotten Cookies is the first plant that I have top dressed this early. Looking at the instructions, I went light on the amount of top dress and Craft blend. So I am going to wait a few days and add a little more of each. They also said to top dress every 3-4 weeks. I think that I will just cut my Top dressings with some soil and top dress weekly at a lower strength to decrease chance of getting hungry.

Get some Oly Mountain Fish Compost verses Soil - If any worms come from your castings you will have these guys working for you - add a little Kashi on to as well along with that craft blend - Worms LOVE the Oly Mountain Compost

@slowandeasy ..... 3.5 oz not bad for mostly just water - how does that compare to your coco ..... Have you got a good taste yet, imagine taste will improve with age but what are your thoughts - how is the smell?

It was just water, besides calmag a few times. I press Rosin, and it is very smooth tasting. White Crack is not a super smelly strain. With White Crack I typically yield 2-3 oz per plant in Coco. It is not a huge yielder, so 3.5 is right where I expected. I believe with some top dressing the yield would be closer to 5oz. I have top dressed a few plants coming along. The Forgotten Cookies was top dressed at the perfect time, I believe. Have to top dress before preflowering too hard. They all git hungry about then. Peace, slow

Hey MOB, I am testing some Organic bottled nutes soon for being a Gladiator. I contacted Build A Soil and asked which soil to use . Zack said for a Water only soil, go with the Build A Soil V3...it is the best he says. But for a nutrient fed grow I should try the Light Soil. So I will prob grab some of it to try soon. I will run the organic nutes on my clones, not Autos. For a true test, clones are better for comparisrion than Autos from seed.

Soinds perfect, looking forward to seeing that .... V.3 works perfect in the Earthbox and the Light Soil should as well but I believe the Light may have a little more rock in it or other drainage material so that could be a challenge in an earthbox but give it a go, you can always add some aloe Vera mixed into water to help with uptake, aloe Vera is a natural wetting agent https://buildasoil.com/products/1-ounce-of-200x-aloe-vera-powder

Agree to test, clones much better suited - good luck and oh btw, note bag size difference between BaS and KIS.

Thanks for the reply MOB. I have all 4 of the Mystery seeds above ground in Rootmakers! Day 1 is today. I used a new Starter mix and I really like the feel and looks of it. Better looking than the Jiffy starter soil and they all popped up really fast...so Im happy. I have 2 more seeds to plant tonight as well, they willl go in Root makers too. My little black tote is working excellent to start my seeds for now, but I will have a seed starting/cloning/mother tent set up next week. Anyone having troubles starting seeds, please remember it is winter in many parts and a heating mat/thermostat is the often the difference between success and failure. Gotta clip 4 more clones tonight too. I am going to keep the healthiest one as my mom, take some clones from the rest and get rid of them after I clone the crap out of them. I am gonna run a nutrient test on a few of them too. Top dressing the first sets of clones and flipping as soon as I get new tents set up. Peace, slow

Here’s my newest - 4 1/2 days old - Gotta say I love this 6500k T5 for starts - I get enough heat from light with dome on and light above dome few inches and then I direct a fan to blow on dome and light and I’m able to keep plant in the 83-86 range day or nite and plant seems to respond very well to the 6500k color - Sour Livers
