Mephisto Genetics White Crack and Kis Organics Soil

Just pressed that tiny bud I bumped off the other day into Rosin just now. Per usual, White Crack really pressed well! Very nice yield from that tiny bud, it was not large. Especially for being dried for less than 2 days. Love this strain! Taking in 4 to 5 more days. Final countdown!

My 2 WC are dry and in jars now. Just trying to get it at the right RH as it was down to 50 percent after I trimmed it. I pressed a lot of sweet and sour and some forgotten cookies earlier in this dry for some fresher rosin. white crack is up next and I can't wait. Tempted to fire up the press tonight to see what it looks like.

Tape a moist Qtip to the underside of your lid on jar. Remoisten as needed. Should go up overnight. Use 2 moist Qtips if you are at 50%. Taped the lid. Works great and you wont need to do it more than a couple days. Peace, slow

Using terracotta to do that rehydration slow. Done in about 30 mins. Not the RAW stones. just cheap chunks of terracotta i have lying around.

Whatever works for you. I just tell people to Avoid fruit, some people suggest it, but that can mold. I like the Qtip method personally. It usually works overnight. But if not, just moisten it again. Peacex slow

Soil drenched everything with Microbe Lift BMC+RO water with my new fancy $14 harbor freight sprayer. Sticky traps were active around the Jrs, perhaps 10-20 caught. mostly by the stalk hole. I only typically see a flyer here and there, but the sticky traps show differently. Will continue this for 2-3 weeks and see.

Still messing with temp/humidity, decided I will rework ducting to vent inside basement. I'm hoping it will bump ambient basement temp/humid a little bit. Also going to downsize the fan from 6" to 4". I need to scrub a little bit to manage wife aggro otherwise I'd try passive.

Didn't get much else done, still haven't covered my 5 gallon -- but I found a nice rubber 12x12 square at harbor freight. I think I can just cut a slit in it, and set it on top. I wish I had potted the plant higher in the bucket so I could just hack a lid.

Jarred up my Fugue State last night, smaller buds were getting crunchy. It's probably still a tiny bit wet overall, but I'm going to let it equalize in the jars first. At 35% ambient humidity in the basement, I can get any excess moisture out quickly. Not bad, I got 5 zips outta that girl. Maybe I'll sample tonight. Kinda digging the SODK smoke right now :) It's fuckin tasty.

Oh.. Top dress time again this weekend. I originally planned on a 50/50 blend of 4-4-4 and the 3-9-4 and 2 more feedings. But looking at the plant, I'm not sure there is 8 weeks left to get the full benefit of the last feeding. I might go straight 3-9-4 full feeding. Haven't decided yet.

So this weekend:
- MBP all around
- Top dress Jrs
- Top dress 5gallon with 4-4-4
- Add top layer of compost+ewc blend to all organics, remulch 5 gallon afterwards. The Jrs should have enough height after new compost, the first layer of mulch is already decomposing.
- Water in with recharge/Aloe/Microbe Lift.

The covers on the Jrs are WAY easier to deal with after the plant's stalk is big enough to handle the stretch. :D

@MMMi I hear yah on tasty bud, I had some strawberry nugs I couldn’t leave alone - good buzz but the taste / smell out of this world ......

Rerouting exhaust into grow space should make a noticeable difference, you shall soon see .....

Good luck with mulch work and bugs!

Trsnsplanted 4 Fast Master Clones. Plan is to veg 7-10,days and flip. But I will make that decision in 7-10 days as it is my first time doing these clones in Kis soil. Will flip by day 14 for surely. They were a little stressed with putting cap on. It is a pain in the ass to put 2 in 1 Junior the cap puts a few seconds of stress on them when you stretch it out initially. I have came up with a way to plug my Stem holes. Back in the day 20+ years ago I did MWC. MEDIUMLESS Water Culture, and used a Pool Noodle to hold the stem. I have some Solid Pool noodles left. I cut a small piece off, like you use for Ez Cloners. Then tsped it down. The stem will expand the Noodle as it grows and zero hole for bugs ro get in or out. Peace, slow

Just looked in on the Fast Master clones. All standing tall and ready to rock now! Putting the caps on can be tricky with multiple plants in same Junior. So im hoping for 7-10 days and flip. No hurry, but that is my goal. Peace, slow

New member here with a first post.
I have been lurking for a long time here, almost a year. Living in a state where it’s legal to grow I have a 9x5 room in the basement with an hlg 550 and 2 315 cmh to blend in some reds. I have been collecting seeds for a while and have a lot of Mephisto in the on deck circle. Last year I tried 7 different varieties with limited success so I was anxious for a change. I now have 4 earth boxes in the room and they are at least 5 weeks old and they each contain 2 plants. 2 Ghost Toof,2 White cracks,2 sour livers a samsquanch and a 4 assed monkey.
I tried a couple soils just for kicks. Michigan made mix and sohum are on the bottom 2/3 of the box and coast of Maine platinum blend on top. I will try to attach some photos in my coming posts but the ease of the grow coupled with over the top results to date are simply too good to be true. Thanks for the guidance with this style grow.
