I don't have enough experience with autos to vote on this topic, but I did just get some AutoMazar and ThinkDifferent seeds to play with so hopefully I can form one! On my current grow with Sour 60 I am running 24/7 lighting and the plant is doing marvelously. Perhaps I will setup an experiment with 3 different plants in identical systems under identical lights with different cycles to test which is best, as I like to get all sciency on most of my grows.

im growing think diffrent in soil and i use 18/6 =) did work well last time so i do the same now :D

I plan on doing 20/4 and prehaps the last 2weeks ill go too 18/6 to finish

I'm been using 20/4. This is another one of those things where I did it that way the first time and just never changed my timer. There is no real particular rhyme or reason. I haven't experimented with the 12/12. I will be running a couple freebie photos along side my autos next go at it. We'll see how that compares with a different light cycle.

just harvested some vertigo's that were 24/0 , they didnt have much for roots at all so id say it would be better to go 20/4 , have done various autos at 12/12 before and yeild is cut back badly

peace

Nobody does 19/5???,lol I guess the weird, odd numbers scare people..I veg 24/0 for first 14-16 days under MH.On the day I go 19/5, I switch to HPS.The plants 1st experience of darkness, is matched with the 1st exp' of HPS light.I have seen my auto's ,any strain.Including Barneys Sweet Tooth, trip to flowering aggressively when I use this method.Mang I'm high...:bong:

After doing some homework my first grow is on a 20/4 schedule.

:peace:

I am currently running 24/0 to keep temps stable, but would prefer to give the girl some sleep time if environment allowed at 20/4, but it is good to have options available to suit your situation
:smokebuds:

Like Duggy I'm also running 24/0. I'm using led and my temps drop rapidly when lights are off.
