No way in heck that fan and those filters will work. Definitely make a better one with a higher-powered fan or buy a pro one, especially if you live in Sweden!
Ok I hear ya. But I'm too stubborn to change route now. I'll put it up and see how it goes but given your warnings I have checked up a plan 2 and found a complete carbon filter 185 m3 fan setup that'll fit the same hole if my girl starts stinking too much for my cheap ass appliance.
Thanks amigos. :smokebuds:
Save time and get the filter now, the bottle isn't going to work. Also, the bottle could make your fan wear out a lot faster by restricting airflow. It's important to match the filter to the fan's cfm not just for smell, but for the life of your fan. I've killed a couple by accident.
can we get a sticky on this there is some good info that could answer a lot of questions...
also i use htg supply growbrite fan and filter fan is good but im gonna replace the filter and use it as a spare and get a phrest filter since it seems to be very talked up...wish i could get a rhino but cant find one online for a decent price.
Ruk fan, Rhino Pro 4" filter. Works like a charm , never a whiff or sniff.
Also have ozone generator just in case of a stinky emegency and need to neutralize the air.I don't use it in day to day use, due to health concerns.
Ive got a 4inch EcoPlus 140 CFM fan and a 4"x12" 200 CFM Phat filter that has been going strong for over a year and still no sign of smell. Im about to upgrade both fan and filter though to 6" due to heat issues. Filter is one of the major pieces of equipment that i WILL NOT skimp on. I would rather pay more for a good filter than risk odor escaping.
