I wanted to begin with Big Bang from Greenhouse Seeds. Reserved them online but when I arrived to pick them up, they were sold out. Being on the spot I chatted with the chaps in the shop (really nice people)
He couldn’t recommend anything (said he didn’t grow) but said a friend had just finished with Speed Devil and said it was “an easy grow” so i purchased three seeds. They were around the same price.

Just checked in on your ladies Animal, Looking really good, And I agree with Squidherb, Very cool names.

Hi All,
Well it’s been 13 days since she went into the ground.

Things have been very good. She has been on an 18/6 cycle for 8 days now. I check on her every day, make sure all the equipment is working ok, that the room is clean and make sure the light is at a good height (4 inches as recommended)

Been watching some growing DVDs and reading as often as I can. Work tends to get in the way of life though doesn’t it

Please let me know if you think she is doing ok or if you see any worrying signs.

Hi All,

Day 20 In the ground and What a busy week its been.
She has grown a bit since last week. Had to adjust the lights a couple fo times.

I am getting good at not bothering her all the time now. Only opening the tent abound twice a day, Morning and night. There has started to be this lovely, lovely smell when I open the Tent. I can only imagine how wonderful this is going to be in the coming weeks. I’m Really excited.


She was watered on Wednesday with a small amount of Nutes. Still no PH pen yet, hopefully in the next couple of weeks. I also need to pick up a carbon filter.

Hi to all you good AFN people.

Just a quick thank you to all who took time to read about my journey and post comments, I really appreciate the feedback and encouragement. I would also like to apologise to all as well. It’s been a mental couple of weeks and I can’t seem to find time to sit and read about everyone else’s adventures and give them the same positive energy that has been given to me. This is something I will rectify in the coming weeks.

So Its day 28 and last week was an amazing experience. She just seemed to take off this past week. Looking at the pic from day 21 is like looking at a different plant.
Big thanks to Big Buddha for taking the time to reply to a PM question on lights.
I switched over to the 250w 2700k on Thursday after seeing the Pistols coming from the main stem. She was watered on Wednesday which was 8 days after her last water. Today she is fairly dry and am considering watering her again.
The temps in the tent did rise but nothing alarming. Steady at 26.C.

The smell over the past week has simply been breath taking.
I love opening the tent and allowing that wave of sweet aroma to hit me in the face.
So here she is. Let me know if she looks “Norm” J
