I know I know--- so late ya slacker!
snap-out-of-it.gif
...... just spread a bit this this year, but hey no pressure right @BCBudlady @blue ?
rolleyes.png
Pretty much the same grow MO as usual, auto's in a tent located in an outside courtyard and photo's at a friends place. My work sched' will make this more of a logistics hassle than usual, but it's always worth it!
I'll still be using the @KIS Organics Nutrient Pack amended soil to lessen the feeding inputs, which has been very satisfying overall- :greenthumb:

Soil:
- same as before, Empire Builder and King's Mix... auto's get a 50/50 blend, photo's mostly EB with some KM to fluff it up some more...

Supplements:
- TPS Silica Gold
- This year I'm trying out a product line from Green Life Biotics, which is already getting a proper shake down here with several other testers. So far, interesting and positive results!
It isn't really a fertilizer line-up per se (have a look at the product overview page, details are there), PK booster aside... It covers inoculant, humic-fulvics, micronutes, other organic components and natural hormones; included was a 0-17-17 PK booster and some fish extract if needed (so far not!)...
To date I've not had anything quite like this line-up, particularly the way it so directly and quickly affects the soil/microbes + nutrient breakdown/availability to plant interactions... This became very obvious when a little too much went in and I got some tip burn and curls despite having next to nothing for NPK inputs, it was all rapid mobilization and uptake boosting!
The first trial run with the auto's went well enough, but there's a learning curve to utilizing this complexly interactive line up properly... and no small amount of plant reading skills -

Tent lights:
- FTG Infinity Q-board
- HLG Diablo Q-board ...this is new, and what a blaster it is! It's only 60w more than the FTG, but it blows it away. Good thing it has a dimmer, full power is too much - :hothot:

(photo's)
- NevLime (private breeder)
- Eye Candy (")
- Orange Push Pop (friends clone)
- Trainwreck (Twenty20Mendo) ... hoping for the cat pee pheno!
- Something Good (ditto; Sour Snow x Sour StrawburieD)
- Sour Bubble/ChemD x Alien OG (old Mephisto test photo cross) ... this one carries a wonderful rose-floral aroma, at least 3/3 has to date
... In fact this is undergoing a repro' attempt by T20M owner Adam to try and save her from extinction! If he can get me pollen as well, I'll knock up a branch on mine too... With some luck it will be saved and the aroma profile will carry through- :goodluck:
- Legend (Jean-O's Genetics) ... an F1 photo x auto cross, "FV"

(auto's) -
*1st round is done already: Orange Bubblegum; JackSummerLove (private breeder); Strawberry Kush (Jean-O's)
Current->
- Citrus Noir x S99v6
- CBD Haze (repro'ed Dinafem x)
- Root Beer Float (Jean-O)
- Punto Rojo x C99a F3 ... this one is early work on a PR auto, reg's.. (private breeder) .... at this stage, auto's are a gamble to show yet; most aren't so far, selections have been leaning toward PR favored pheno's, not speed/auto just yet...

>>> I'll rewind some to the finished 1st round auto's..... to keep the thread page from being a load-time PITA, I'm going to spread posting out

JSL -->
I got major pungency from her, a lot of aromatic woods/incense, skunky, a dash of sour/citrus... Citrus was stronger earlier, might still be there but the live stank of other terp's is blasting it out of detection! I have the strong impression her aroma will shift significantly by cure time... I can't wait to try her!
Lots of very fine trichomes, with a greasy feel, not really sticky at all...
She had a tricky-to-photo nature to her, found it difficult to capture her sparkles, something I encounter on occasion with certain plants,... something about the optics of her resins?

Strawberry Kush-->
Our own in-house boutique breeder! Seen a bunch of his plants grown now, and they are solid consistent growers making lots of happy customers - :greenthumb:
I may not have gotten the strawberry pheno (my infamous luck as usual- hahaha-?), but the quality is rock solid, literally! Trimming was silly fast, next to nothing to nip off and so dense....
This girl though picked up more Kushy pungency at the end, but still close to that gum/candy + woods mix, maybe a bit of something from the camphor/menthol/eucalyptus family too...

>>> Orange Bubblegum (Twisted Tree) --> another fine performing cross, beautiful yummy smelling buds loaded with the goods! Aroma is staying candy-shop all the way...

*** buds are dry, jarred and starting cure.... dry porn soon! ***

:peek:-- meantime at the grow site....

Jumping ahead of the boring early veg' stuff, now onto the more recent update! Not shown yet are the plants that were bumped into bigger pots today, 6gal fabric....

>>> NevLime -- this was made from an atypical Neville's Haze (short, fruity smelling, faster) and Mean Gene's Lime 1 (I think, maybe New Lime)

>>> Orange Push Pop - a clone from a friend in AK! This came as seeds to him from here in Cali', a worked OPP F4 for outside growing

>>> "Rosa", no official name really,... this is an old photo one-off made by Mephisto years ago when trying out potential photo's for auto breeding... Some were so good they just HAD to knock some boots together! This is SourBubble/ChemD x Alien OG ... her amazing rose-floral aroma is the best I've ever snorted!

>>> Trainwreck - !! - huge nostalgia for this girl...She was a rising star when I was in Humboldt State U., Arcata, where she was born... I'm super-hoping to get the classic nose burning cat pee pheno!

>>> Something Good (T20M) ... more goodness from @Twenty20 Adam ... so many juicy choices they have but this one he waved at me and I snapped that bait up!

>>> Eye Candy x2 ... one pale low vigor, another still not so hot either = fuck... this is a wicked good cross though!

Finally! :haha::rofl:. The first round of autos finished beautifully. Strawberry Kush is a mighty fine looking plant, if not the expected aromas.
Such a well curated photo and auto group this summer. Very special and unusual aromas. The NevilLime and OPP…some nice citrus/fruity going on with cat piss and roses to round things out. Something for everyone in there…

OBBG was a crowd favorite here. TT putting out some solid work.

Punto Rojo not fully auto yet? Did you keep one or two? Given the private breeder’s high standards, this cross should be spectacular…..
Photos should start transitioning this week. The fun begins.

:toke: thanks for clicking by my man! :crying:

Thanks luv for dropping that stick of dynamite under my ass, to get me off it! :poof::funny:

I'll get dry porn up shortly here, along with early aroma and buzz impressions...

It's a pretty wild photo line up to be sure! NevLime may/not be lime-ish, or Haze-ish,.... So far that's the range of aromas others are getting I think.
Funny, rose and cat pee -

..we'll see,... Expected, but you know my wonky pheno luck!
OPP might be a tough call too, as it wasn't actually that orangy, floral notes are strong though... but no telling for sure what OD life will bring out of her!
SG should be overripe fruit, gassy, dairy...
Legend has the potential for serious funk, says Jean-O
Eye Candy tends to be along the typical Cookie/dessert family of aroma spectrum, and very resinous

Krk says F3 isn't likely to auto, but a few have so far,... makes sense, he's looking toward F4-5 for locking in the auto gene better? He may have used the "new" C99a, which may not be fully auto yet either...?
Oh, 3 seedlings now BC, two showing decidedly PR/Sati's leaves, the 3rd is a late germ (one misfire) but expect the same... Sexing starts around 4 weeks he said, so they will hang out in 1gal's for now... topping may be necessary! Then we see if they auto of not, and may finish OD's

I think my photo's will be late, and that's fine... 2-3 weeks I suspect, they have lots of filling in to do... Plus the new shoes! OPP, Nev' and Rosa are already in 7's, TW and SG to get theirs Sat.; meantime, that soil needs to cook! I came up a bit short
The "plan" is to end up with plants that were like the Cherry WiFi's were, under 5',... late topping may happen, I loved how that worked on CWF and Garlicane last year :greenthumb: - a happy accident indeed!
...no 7-footer Sati's though, much as I wanted to run MadMac's Tangie auto x OHz... If ever you want to tangle though, let me know! :vibe:
Krk sent me some other gnarly stuff, fem's made a while back

:baked: oops! Forgot to finish that last sentence @BCBudlady

Those crosses are C99a x Killer Malawi/A5Thai and FireMoB/A5T x KMA5T... There's a whole thread at GMC dedicated to A5T which I think is ACE's A5 Haze, but the Thai origins I forget...

Better late than…,@Waira! Yes, those Cherry Wi-Fi ‘s were perfect OD specimens. Great effects too.
Eye Candy was a misfire/weak plant here, so maybe a hiccup with that pollination? I’ll attempt another this winter.
The final results should provide a wide range of effects, aromas, and unusual funk to excite the most discerning consumer.
Can’t believe we are well into August and the days getting shorter already.
The reviews on the Ace gear has been excellent….and from pretty picky folks. Should be top top.
Really gotta cut down. Took 3hours, 3 attempts to write and push send.
