Waira's 2024 Auto + Photo Mash Up grow gig

>>> Skoosh- @Sawney_bean :woohoo1: cracking cross mate! Her strawberry punch aroma is sticking around, mixed with that classic sort of "Kushy" blend of hashy/herbal/earthy behind this... She's packed with short stalked trich's, chopping her up fouls the scissors quickly -
And she hits hard just like you said! I feel a middle ground hybrid high, good most anytime... unless you want to focus, she's rather spacey in the head to me 😵‍💫 :haha:

@Waira I tried the coconut powder just to see what it was like , It did nothing for me and it was very costly to buy , I will stick to fresh green coconut water , I don't trust the powder , when I pick coconuts the are very young this is the stage that they are at there best .
Cytokinin compounds are present at different maturationstages of coconut water. Predominantly, the cytokinin concentration was found to be the maximum at the immature stage.

Useful info and knowledge there @hecno

Cheers mate, you confirmed what I've looked into as well... I'll never know exactly what ratio of auxin:cytokinin that's in this powdered coco-water, which is why I tagged @KIS Tad to see if he has any possible insight on this and the source of their product.
From what I'm finding, I suspect this powder is very heavy on auxin, low on cytokinin, which will make for strong apical dominance... I'm thinking what this source used for it was mature coconuts, not the younger "tender" coco's!
Dude, it's really fucking with the plants to this day! Branching STILL isn't moving forward much.... :cuss:
And yes, the value factor is not there, even if it worked as desired... It doesn't trump kelp so far as I can see...

Thanks mate 👍 👌

Great news that! This is a keeper Sawney, in fact after work last night I hit on some after not smoking any of it for several days... She hit back, HARD -😵‍💫
Cure is certainly going to magnify the potency, seriously, the difference of even just those several days was surprise!

It sure age's well to mate. If you can keep hands off it 😆 🤣 😂

So how much do you pay the local kids to monkey up the tree and pick a coconut? :rofl:

When I was in Naval Housing, I had five coconut trees. I had one close to the carport that all I had to do was make a phone call and they would come out and knock all the coconuts out of the tree to prevent them from falling on top of the carport.

When I bought a house in Ewa Beach, I had two really big ones. All I had to do was call over the neighbor's kid and he would fly up that tree better than any damn monkey!

I haven't had any problems with the dried coconut water that I use from BAS.

Sounds like a reasonable prognosis.
What's a possible solution, though?
Heavy hit with cytokinin to rebalance them?
But then that may OD on the hormones...
Heavy flush? With all it's root soaking pros and cons...?

Maybe you'll get baseball bat bud colas, though.
Tryin' to think on the bright side.

I saw their product too when looking. It begs some questions about the sourcing... How many companies could there be doing this? And how likely is it that KIS and BaS are getting it from the same source? =
Like I said, this is the only new thing in the equation, but while I can't definitively place the blame on it, it's still logically suspect...
I followed their dosing guidelines though... I asked KIS and some guy (not Tad) gave me some WTF grade dosing levels, more like for making actual reconstituted coco-water vs. dilute plant dosing!
Sounds like a reasonable prognosis.

No solution that I can label as a "fix"... too late anyway!
Yeah, hammering away with hormones is a dice roll at best... the whole feedback/balance system in the plant isn't something I have a handle on, that's a plant physio' specialists' gig -
Best I can do is kelp it up, but the same mystery applies: what hormones and ratio's are in it? Company to company, batch to batch = more:shrug:
I like Bloom City brand CleanKelp...they use several kelp species, not just A. nodosum...
All I know is that kelp never fucked up my plants, sooo.....

Thanks Maria :bighug:... I'm resigned to having wonky proportioned plants this year, all there is to it! I run on a timeline tightrope as is, so any monkey-fuck sideways shit like this leaves me scrambling to deal with it in what little wiggle room for time I have...
More time would fix it mostly I'm sure, but that ain't happenin'... :smoker1:

If someone was going to start an organic soil grow, would you point them towards BaS or KIS? I can get a bag of Roots Organic Original or Lush at the local dirt store. I was thinking of that with the KIS nutrient pack. 25 gallon fabric pot/bag.
