no not the actual buds them selves, but them leaves i told you to leave on that dont extend from the bud, them ones are the ones that power your buds..... the sugar leaves....But I wonder whether buds need light to grow / fattened, would they not have the energy through main leaves and strain
Awww... it's my baby! She looks great, X!
What I do is look at buds under the canopy and start lifting leaves to see which ones let the most light in. When I move a leaf and light hits the bud, I pick it. And, as trip said, I don't cut it close to the main stem, I leave a nice stub. [emoji106] [emoji16]@witchyhour @tripaholic88

And if there's no air circulation, everything underneath will start rotting...no not the actual buds them selves, but them leaves i told you to leave on that dont extend from the bud, them ones are the ones that power your buds..... the sugar leaves....
not necessarily, i mean if you cant see through to the other side yea you will proly have some mold issues but when i clear out my bottom it is for better air circulation to the plants middle and lower buds... these bottom ones arnt as big of a priority as the ones that XXX pulled today...And if there's no air circulation, everything underneath will start rotting...

I didn't defoliate Cara until she was already blooming and she had a pretty thick canopy. When I opened it, the branches under the canopy had yellowing, burnt looking leaves and non-developed buds. It was a shock because the outside looked fantastic. I started defoliating and adding side lights pointing inside, now it looks good all around.not necessarily, i mean if you cant see through to the other side yea you will proly have some mold issues but when i clear out my bottom it is for better air circulation to the plants middle and lower buds... these bottom ones arnt as big of a priority as the ones that XXX pulled today...
