Well i think the small outbreaks of botrytis is being assisted from the damage done by these fkn bud worm caterpillars that I have just discovered.... Spent the am going over all the plants and killing the fkers...

The only parts that have been effected by mould also have caterpillar damage in the surrounding area. Also just to give me a kick in the guts today, a few spots of powdery mildew on some leaves. There's just no predators around compared to lat year.
:wall:

So in the pm I will make a spray of apple cidar vinegar + liquid soap & water. I have milk sprayed all the plants in preflower too.

Heres hoping I can get these finished without too much more damage:baked:
Damn man thats f up,i,m sorry to hear about your pests.Looks like your doing all you you can do.I hope you can salvage some decent smoke out of it,those plants look healthy otherwise.Peace.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles Vas. I noticed you did a milk spray. Would you mind explaining why, and how. I have yet to hear about using it, and might me missing out on a cheap alternative. :smoking: I read somewhere that you should not use BT on any part of the plant you plan on consuming. I have no clue how true this is, but thought I would bring it up in case it had some merit. It could be BS, I don't know. Have you used it before? I almost got some for my issues last month, but money got a bit tight.

A man wiser than I once told me...
Hey Fuggz, I has a super cali haze decimated by a slug at about 7 days old. left all but 1/2 a true leaf, i'd written her off, left her for dead. she hung on and fought back well, this her it is at 9 weeks old, 71cm , so hang in there with #2 !

I think the forums are accusing me of favoritism. :crying:

By the way... I'm not getting updates on this thread. I have it subbed, but getting zero notices...

LOL Fugz.... I use 1 part milk / 10 part water and foliar spray it on young buds. It's preventative, once the buds are dense & mature it's too late, best to do it every 10 days from early flowering. some people do up to 3 parts milk. You need to do it in direct sunshine and allow the solution to dry on the buds. The sunlight reacts with an enyzme in the milk that prohibits the mould spores from activating.

The BT i bough claims it is "safe for use on herbs, veges, friut and is safe to ladybugs, bees, mammals & fish"
I've sprayed twice and no caterpillar damage since

I have an outbreak of fungal leaf spot too at the moment. Have hot dry wether next few days so all ok for now.
:baked:

Yeah one thing after another at the moment. The mould was caused by the caterpillar damage in the damp, cool weather. Been ok last couple of days. I did take down a Magnum that was struggling. Any fungal issues will recieve a hiding in the next few days lol...
