Repeat of results with 24 Carat seeds. Actually I started 2 in a cup of RO water and about 20 hours later I directly planted the seeds. Both had small tails already, higher temps and 8 hours longer soak have them time to grow a tail. So, 44 hours later they both are up with shells off! That's about 64 total hours from soaking to seedling. Not too shabby.

thanks man, I have no problem germing my seeds and getting them to pop up but literally within a few hours they start to get dark green and they become stunted. I plant directly into roots organic soil after soaking for 24 hours. it looks like n excess from day 1 and it doesn't go away. I have a dark green stunted 3 week old and a dark green 2 day old.

that's the growth of my 3 week old plant from day 4. its now 5 inches tall and working on 6th node but its so dark and it been that way since day 1. also starting showing pistils about 3 days ago

What is your lighting? How often do you water? Are you just using water?

well I'm using a 300w led (china made one) I had it about 24 inches then someone said it was too close that's why my plants were small so I moved it to 30 inches my plant grew 1 inch over a few days so its now at about 18 inches. I water usually every 3 days and I just added first dose of nutes yesterday. my seedling that just popped up 3 days ago is really dark. honestly haven't been able to test ph properly only had the strips but I have a ph meter being delivered tomorrow. if its not my ph I can only assume the soil is too hot? ive read ppl say it is and it aint. I'm growing gorilla glue auto from fast buds.

I just have one further question if you don‘t mind:

Do you let the cups get very light/dry before each watering or do you hold the level of moisture higher?

After planting the seed, I let the cup loose 50% of its mass, which takes 4-5 days, then I add 1oz of water ... then I let the cup dry out 1oz, water again 1oz and so on. I‘ve never lost a seed but my seedlings grow slower than they should .... maybe too arid?

What are you feeding? I feed daily once they have roots. Bottom feed. They grow fast. But I feed almost full strength right away, good luck.

Thank you bro for your quick reply. I feed half strenght right away ( 3/4 in the future!), bottom feed. After they break through soil I wait 3-4 days before I water/feed them for the first time so the top half of the medium gets quite arid. I guess I should start to water earlier and maintain a slightly higher moisture in the cups ... don‘t you think?
