Ya astro, I say plant them direct from the germ stage to the final home. I know a lot of others do tier and it does look like it works well for them but if you have the room and only using cfl and or led the whole grow i really dont see the point. I wish i could get mine to sprout in their final home. Straight from breeder pack to moist soil but i have only had one plant sprout that way. I have had some sprout in their final home straight out of a 18 hour soak in a cup of water into soil. I think that was me best grow yet. I'm all open guys on why to tier in the first place if someone wants to explain the reason again other than a space or light reason.
Thanks for stop'n by everyone
Mainly just because it's easier to clean out a 32oz cup of dirt than a two gallon pot of dirt, UF, when you're getting rid of males.
I've had 100% germ rate since I've started growing, with soaking them in water till they sink (or 24hrs, whichever comes first) and then right in the big soil. I've had the luck of having good beans, that helps, but they've all germ'd this way.
Hi friends! All in well in my happy place. Plants are growing like mad. Picked up a couple BH runts from my bro so i added pics of them also. One of the PM is acting like its on steroids. Been trying to keep the light close to is so to keep node spacing close but every 8 hours its into the light again. The pics will show it all. The DFG is looking great and doing a side by side pic i'm thinking the unknown plant might be the last DFG that sprouted in the pot i put outside. Yall be the judge. bros
