Afternoon UK growers. Back with another question lol, whats everyone's thoughts on 48hours of darkness prior to chopping down. 2 of mine are going to be ready within the next day or 2. Some people swear by it and others don't do it. And id you do go for darkness do you water or not? Getting exciting heading towards my first chop :smoking:

I do it with every grow mate. Not hundred per cent sure if the science backing it up is sound enough though but I do it regardless. If it doesn’t help ripen the buds that extra bit you’ve at least saved on leccy for two days. I’ve even done it at 72 hours before now too.

2 plants down today a 2ltr bottle is a dinafem cookie and the solo is a humboldt choc mint auto and it just shows you don't need big pots to grow decent plants so anyone with a micro grow ect View attachment 1233382View attachment 1233383

im really digging these “micro” grows. YoI’ve mastered that art! Very impressive stuff my friend!

Going to do coco for next grow. Found an online shop running a special for 70/30 coco perlite mix washed and pre-buffered for £9 for 40L

that is pretty good. I had very good results using coco, I only stopped using it this year as I decided to change to hydro. If you want really good results and you want a slightly easier life when growing, I recommend growing in auto pots. That’s an awesome piece of kit

Might give it a test on these 2. And skip it on the third thats a week behind. See if it changes anything. Would you water it or leave it dry for the dark period?

you’ll get some fat and juicy buds on the one side now mate. Splitting is actually beneficial to harvest

Tent if that's what you mean. 60x60x160cm. But can rig up a big cardboard box with some airflow to get the 2 in the dark. There only small plants anyway so don't need much room

it will be ok bro just leave the tape on just try to be a little more gentle in future as i find if you supercrop and the right time it can make them explode also @CallumCush I've read about the dark thing but I've never tested it also my tents always full with other plants of different ages this is what's great with autos . @Daipot do you grow in autopots I've grown in them for years they make life a lot easier I've only run 2 this time though
