Thoughts on self ballasted 400w mh

I wouldn’t give that a punt mate. No way can that safely output 400w without a ballast, and it’s suspiciously cheap too. IMO it’s either dangerous or not what it says it is.

What would indicate bugs mate,
The yellow and rusty leaves are lowers, a few of non yellow are from mid and top section.

I remember when I was younger the local grow shop used to sell hps bulbs along with a e40 ceramic lamp holder. I actually got one one time and it worked but not sure how many Watts it was,
The 400 w one says thier internally ballasted. But as you say very cheap,

It looks like something has been munching down to the stem on the top right leaf. I wouldn’t worry too

@Daipot cheers buddy appreciate that and yes, wouldn’t of dreamed of a first harvest like that, she has been put through the ringer, so don’t know about quality and taste until after cure.
