Oh man ! Only us ?! Tragic ! Hey girl seems like we are a rare breed ha ! There doesn't seem to be many on insta either. This is my first go, I have no idea why I've not got in to it sooner to be honest. When i think of people growing, I guess I always thought of massive farms run by gangsters or something like you see on the news ... I didn't realise there was just normal folk going about their business. How about you?

There are other women growers on here, around the world, and one other British lady but she lives in Spain and has done for years. A rare breed indeed!

I've done a few grows now but started with photoperiod plants in 2009/2010, then had a break for some years after getting a bad case of spider mite. My first taste of autos was 2016 when I was living abroad for six months. I don't smoke or vape myself but I grow for my family - hubby and adult live-at-home kids. I haven't yet got the hang of growing enough to keep them in weed year-round LOL but I don't have a massive grow space. I don't dare grow outside, as where I am (south east) a lot more people are aware of what weed looks like and smells like, so I'm cautious. Here is the only place that I'm really open about growing and I've made some great friends who I've met outside of the forum.

I've tried edibles but I always overdo it and end up in bed - usually via the bathroom floor - and I've made tincture but it's too heavy on the alcohol.

Feel free to have a nosey around the site and my past and current grows if you have the time and can see my signature - I can give you links if not. I think your plants look great - keep them well watered in this heat though! What are you going to do when you get to harvest, smoke it? Vape it? Edibles? Tincture?

I was a complete novice before I started looking in to it, I thought it would be impossible over here without a tent/ expensive lights etc, so I just never did the research. I am quite a competent gardener already so when I found out about autos I got very excited I won't deny that I'm shitting it when it comes to flowering, but judging by a lot of other people's outdoor grow posts over here I don't think it'll be *too* bad smell wise lol.
I'm not sure what I'll do with the harvests, I don't think they'll yeild much to be honest so anything will be a bonus they're only in 10L of soil so can't see them getting monstrous... Though we'll see LOL. I don't smoke an incredible amount, so whatever I do come out with will probably sort me out for a while haha. I dont know anyone who grows their own and I stopped buying from dealers a long time ago after I read about a gang farm that got busted local to me who used Vietnamese slaves trapped in there to run it... Really grim and horrible. I just want some to keep for a rainy day and the evenings I fancy a toke and something I can say I've grown, not harming anyone or anything
